In Niigata, Japan, an incredibly exact sculpture is left.
I engrave the ceiling in the temple of the reputation if greater than Nikou.
越後のミケランジェロと称される「石川雲蝶」は江戸時代に活躍した名匠。その卓越した彫刻技術はミケランジェロをも両府がするといわれている。新潟県南魚沼で彼の作品を残す曹洞宗・西福寺でその足跡をたどった。

火渡り祭3/2015

1月2日に行われた華厳寺の火渡り祭2015の記録です。

Japan - Niigata Prefecture Echigoyuzawa Kaikake Hot Spring

Niigata Prefecture, Echigoyuzawa (越後湯沢）, is located at about 1.5 hour from Tokyo by Bullet Train. From the station, you can take a bus for about 30 min and arrive at Kaikake hot spring （貝掛温泉). It is considered as hidden hot spring as there is nothing around the hotel beside snow and river. The open hot spring without a roof so that you can feel the snow coming down to your head. The water temperature is not hot so you can stay for hours without feeling hot.

Around the station you can go skiing as there are lot of ski resort around. So you can enjoy hot spring and ski at the same time.
