I passed the person who put a camera for broadcast on the shoulder, and photographed it.
Senkoji Temple (千光時）, Onomichi City, Western Japan
Senkoji Temple (千光時） is located on the sacred Senkoji-yama (千光時山） mountain in the historic city of Onomichi (尾道市）. In addition to Senkoji temple, there are few other temples and this collection of temples make the Senkoji-Yama a sacred mountain.
Senkoji Temple was built in AD 860 and has great views of the Onomichi city harbor from it's main worship hall. The main worship hall (Hondo) itself, has a small hanging platform similar to the Kiyomizudera Temple. In the permises there is a small temple for Monk Kobo Daishi and a beautiful temple bell overlooking the Onomichi inland sea.
The surroundings of this temple are some of the most beautiful I have seen. It is also easy to get to this temple. Take the Tokaido Sanyo line shinkansen and get off at the Shin-Onomichi station. From the Shin-Onomichi station, the temple is close by. You can go up the mountain either by a ropeway or by walk.

Fukuzenji Temple【福禅寺】
Fukuzenji Temple offers the arguably most famous view at Tomonoura - that of the nearby Bentenjima Island and Sensuijima Island through the veranda of the temple. As a side note, the temple also houses a statue of Maria Kannon, who is Virgin Mary made to look like the Buddhist Bodhisattva Kannon during the Edo Period, when Christianity was banned in Japan and Christians had to practice their religion in secret.

今週の尾道はお花見の観光客の皆さんでいっぱいでした。

2013年9月７日午後4時18分頃から撮影開始。青春18きっぷを利用して下調べもなしに尾道駅に着いたら、尾道に古寺めぐりのコースがあることを初めて知りました。どんなコースだろうと駅からスタートして西郷寺まで行きました。さらに奥まで行きたかったのですがそれは止めて、帰りに西郷寺から尾道駅までのコースを撮影。ロープウェイを利用せず、また千光寺などのかなりの寺を飛ばした行程です。この古寺めぐりを全て歩くとなると、かなりの時間と体力を必要とするようです。

四国のお遍路(現在53ヵ所参拝済み)と並行して、中国三十三観音霊場とせとうち三十三観音霊場巡りを行っています。今日は広島県三原市と尾道市の3ヵ寺を参拝しました。暖かい春の日で桜の開花もすすんでいます。しまなみ海道はリラックスした癒されるところでした。因島と向島にまだ「せとうち」の3寺を残しているので、またやってきます。今度は夏かな。

Hiroshima Cherry Blossom Viewing (花見) | JAPAN VLOG
Spring is here and the flowers are blooming! That's a huge deal in Japan, especially for cherry blossoms (sakura). Cherry blossom bloom forecasts are made for each region of Japan. Where I live, in Hiroshima, they started blooming a few days into April.
Everyone goes with friends, families and lovers to view the cherry blossoms. This usually includes a picnic under the blooms. This video is from when I went to hanami near Peace Park in downtown Hiroshima. It was so lovely. If you ever come to Japan, make sure to check out the cherry blossoms in the Spring :)

Miyajima in Cherry Blossom Season Part 1 - Itsukushima Shrine ???? 宮島●厳島神社 ???? Japan As It Truly Is
Miyajima with its Itsukushima Shrine is one of the greatest sights of Japan and will give you a truly unforgettable experience.
Besides Tokyo and Kyoto, Hiroshima is one of the most popular tourist places, and Miyajima is the jewel of the region.
Itsukushima Shrine goes back to around the 6th Century, and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The floating torii gate in the water is regarded as one of the 3 Great Views of Japan, and is 16m high and 24m wide. It has been rebuilt 7 times over the centuries, and the current 8th one was erected in 1875.
NB: From June 2019, for at least a year, the big torii gate will be undergoing renovations - it will be covered by scaffolding. For some, seeing the torii in the water is the highlight of the visit, so plan accordingly - and see it here if you can't make it in time.
This footage explores Miyajima at the height of the cherry blossom season, which is one of the best times to see it. Also included here is the Daiganji Temple, plus Omoto Park and shrine exploding in sakura blossoms.
But you would be severely shortchanging yourself if you only saw Itsukushima Shrine and then left Miyajima - be sure to continue on to Part 2 to see Daishoin, one of Japan's best temples nearby.
