I think these qualify for having the weirdest floor labeling I have seen... Before you comment about it, note that those indicators have absolutely NOTHING to do with Montgomery .
Endangered Mussels Released into the Clinch River, Largest Release in Eastern US
Biologists from the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries (VDGIF), and partners from Virginia Tech, the Nature Conservancy, and the USFWS stocked thousands of mussels into the Clinch River, Russell County. The Clinch River has more species of endangered freshwater mussels than any other river in North America. Elementary school students from Cleveland, VA, participated in the event, and learned about the many functions of mussels, including providing habitat for fish, becoming food for many other animals, and filtering and cleaning the water in our streams and rivers. Over 3,500 federally-endangered mussels were produced at the Department's Aquatic Wildlife Conservation Center in Marion, Virginia.

St-Paul de Vence in the south of France
St-Paul de Vence in the South of France is one of the best preserved and prettiest medieval villages in all of Europe. We're going to take you on a walk straight through the middle of St-Paul on the main pedestrian lane from one end of town to the other and later working to show you all the little side streets. Located on the Cote d'Azur along the French Riviera in Provence, this village is one of the prettiest in Europe. The cobblestone lanes here are among the finest that you will ever see.
When you reach the far end of the main lane you exit through another gateway arch and then there's a staircase that leads your right up onto the wall with a lovely viewing platform where you can see across the distant landscape.
The walks round the walls are in part wider, and the small gardens of the houses sloping down to them, with the dark foliage and golden fruit of their orange groves, form a beautiful foreground to the lovely views that are visible off in the distance in every direction.
Saint-Paul de Vence's town wall dates from the 16th century as we see it today and it hugs the contours of the rocky spur on which the village stands, forming a 1 km perimeter that has undergone only slight modifications since the 16th century.
We have created many more movies about this area, the Côte d'Azur, the French Riviera that you can find on our channel, so have a look. You'll see programs about Cannes and Monaco, Monte Carlo, St-Paul, Vence, Villefrance, all around through the region including Antibes, and we really enjoy using Nice as our home base to explore this entire region.

Saint Paul (/ˌseɪnt ˈpɔːl/; abbreviated St. Paul) is the capital and second-most populous city of the U.S. state of Minnesota. As of 2014, the city's estimated population was 297,640.[3] Saint Paul is the county seat of Ramsey County, the smallest and most densely populated county in Minnesota.[5] The city lies mostly on the east bank of the Mississippi River in the area surrounding its point of confluence with the Minnesota River, and adjoins Minneapolis, the state's largest city. Known as the Twin Cities, the two form the core of Minneapolis–Saint Paul, the 16th-largest metropolitan area in the United States, with about 3.5 million residents.[6]
Founded near historic Native American settlements as a trading and transportation center, the city rose to prominence when it was named the capital of the Minnesota Territory in 1849. Though Minneapolis is better-known nationally, Saint Paul contains the state government and other important institutions.[7] Regionally, the city is known for the Xcel Energy Center, home of the Minnesota Wild,[8] and for the Science Museum of Minnesota.[9][10] As a business hub of the Upper Midwest, it is the headquarters of companies such as Ecolab.[11] Saint Paul, along with its Twin City, Minneapolis, is known for its high literacy rate. It was the only city in the United States with a population of 250,000 or more to see an increase in circulation of Sunday newspapers in 2007.[12]
The settlement originally began at present-day Lambert's Landing, but was known as Pig's Eye after Pierre Pig's Eye Parrant established a popular tavern there. When Lucien Galtier, the first Catholic pastor of the region, established the Log Chapel of Saint Paul (shortly thereafter to become the first location of the Cathedral of Saint Paul), he made it known that the settlement was now to be called by that name, as Saint Paul as applied to a town or city was well appropriated, this monosyllable is short, sounds good, it is understood by all Christian denominations.[13]
HUD Secretary Donovan, Franken, Ellison Speak at Homes for A
Housing and Urban Development Secretary Shaun Donovan, Senator Al Franken and Congressman Keith Ellison attended the Homes for All Conference in St. Paul, Minn., yesterday. Ellison, who represents Minnesota's 5th Congressional District, announced the Rental Housing Revitalization Act, which would allow local public housing agencies to provide $25 billion in much-needed repair and renovation to the nation's affordable housing stock. Secretary Donovan delivered a keynote speech at the St. Paul River Centre, after which he, Ellison and Jon Gutzman of the St. Paul Public Housing Agency discussed the legislation in detail — and disagreed on some key points — during an afternoon breakout session.
Amazing New Scenic Elevators at the Minnesota State Capitol
4/29/2017
The Minnesota State Capitol (in St Paul) recently underwent a multi-hundred million dollar renovation. It originally opened in the early 1900's, and was built with two Otis gated elevators. Sometime in the 1960's, they modernized the Elevators to automatic operation, but walled in the cab and doors, as well as divided one of the larger elevators, into two smaller ones. The elevators were again modernized to a generic in the late 1990's, and after the Capitol building was closed for renovations a couple years ago I was fearing the worst. Turns out they did the most amazing mod job I have ever seen, turning them back into scenic elevators into the shaft and the doors, restoring the antique look. I'm not quite sure who installed these, as they seem to be unbranded.
I've been taking a break over the past couple months from posting new videos, but my backlog is getting pretty big and I just couldn't resist posting these after visiting this morning. Enjoy!

Festival of Nations-Dance-2012-1 [India Association of MN]
India Association of MN coordinates the volunteers at the annual
Festival of Nations held at the RiverCentre in St. Paul ,MN
The India Association of Minnesota (IAM), formerly called the India Club of Minnesota, has been in existence since 1973 as a non-profit organization, in the Twin-Cities of Minneapolis-St.Paul, in the State of Minnesota. It seeks to build a sense of identity and community among people who are of Indian origin or who have an interest in India. People of Indian origin represent a significant part of the population of Minnesota, and their number has been growing steadily. From a socio-economic point of view, the Indian community is a highly educated and fairly prosperous group. India being a land of diverse cultures, the Indian Community here, being a microcosm of the same great land is also a plethora of cultures, traditions, customs and even languages so different from each other. Although most of the ethnic, religious and language groups have their own associations and clubs, there is no representative body for the Indian community as a whole. IAM seeks to fill this void and take up this responsibility of representing the Indian community as a whole, to the society at large. In addition, IAM seeks to do this with the help and support of the various ethnic groups.
The Festival of Nations is the largest multi-cultural event in Minnesota. Since 1932 the festival has been presented annually by the International Institute of Minnesota. It is held at the St. Paul RiverCentre, downtown St. Paul, Mn.
At the Festival of Nations we have the opportunity to develop an appreciation, rather then just a tolerance of the culture of others as we build for the future together.
