Sakura Zhaopingtou Nantou Taiwan
Formosan Aboriginal Cultural Village, Yu Chih Nantao
We reached Nantao County, the second largest county in Taiwan and located in the centre of this amazing island. Here, you can find the aboriginal people of Taiwan.
We visited Formosan Aboriginal Cultural Village. This is the best season. The cherry blossoms can be seen at many part of Taiwan. And especially in this theme park. The dark and light pink flowers present a beautiful scenery here.
Actually, you can enjoy many rides here. For those who love adrenaline rush activities, can ride the roller coasters and boat inside the park.
We enjoyed our walk inside the park and watched the aboriginal dance show. Definitely a place to visit. There is entrance fee of TWD150.
There is a cable car ride. You can see Sun Moon Lake from above. A short ride approximately 9-10 minutes.
Later in the afternoon, we ride a train around Lavender Garden at the end of the park.

Nantou County cherry blossom season delayed by two weeks due to warm winter
Typically, the start of the Lunar New Year Spring coincides with the peak period for viewing cherry blossoms. But last winter was unseasonably warm, delaying the flowering of the trees. In Nantou County’s top five cherry blossom viewing locations, less than 50 percent of the trees are in bloom, with visitors virtually outnumbering the cherry blossoms themselves in many spots. In the past, this time of year would typically see the area near the Sun Link Sea Forest Recreation Area covered with cherry blossoms. But few blossoms are in bloom right now, and many say it’s the first time in 15 years the area has looked like this.Chiang Hua-changSun-Link-Sea Forest and Nature ResortThis year we experienced the most unpredictable cherry blossoming period as flowering near Sun Link Sea Forest Recreation Area has been delayed by nearly half a month, with Feb. 28 to be the most beautiful period. Cherry trees near Yuchi Township’s amusement park and National Chi Nan University don’t appear to be flowering either.Many believe that an unseasonably warm start to the winter at the end of last year disrupted the flowering season, which together with two short lived cold streams in January means that many will still have to wait to enjoy the beautiful sight of cherry blossoms.

Formosa Aboriginal Culture Village was established in 1986; total area is 62 hectares. The culture village features aboriginal cultures, combining tourism, culture and educational functions. It is located in Yuchi, Nantou County, near Sun Moon Lake. The culture village has made great efforts in updating the amusement facilities and services and has shown the vigorous spirits of the aboriginal tribes.
Formosa Aboriginal Culture Village has five theme parks: the European Gardens, the Aladdin Plaza, the Aboriginal Villages, Amusement Isle and Ti Ka Er Rainforest. Amusement facilities in these five theme parks include joy ride, cultural square, artistic fountain, museums, 3-D theater, aboriginal dance show, etc. The Culture Village is entertaining and educational, perfect for families on holidays.

Best things to do in Taiwan
One of the best places to visit in Taiwan. An amusement park with a traditional Aboriginal theme, excellent for family and just for everyone!
The Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village located in Yuchi Township, Nantou County, Taiwan which has been in operation since 1986.
The best time to visit the village is during the cherry blossom season.This is because the flower season gives an extra special appearance to the village.The blossom season is between February and March depending on the weather conditions.
The village is centered on the hundreds of cherry trees and over 2,000 cherry trees, and every year in early spring around February to March, The Sun Moon Lake, which is located to near to the village, and the village are embraced by cherry blossoms in full bloom making the area have the most cherry blossoms in central Taiwan.
Also, during the cherry blossom festival period, lamplights are placed on each of the cherry trees in the Formosan Aboriginal Cultural Village.
Because I was dancing in Spanish Show we were provided by dormitory by the park.
So we enjoyed performing as well as all the facilities.

Аборигеннский парк, расположеннен в поселке Ючи, уезд Наньтоу, Тайвань, работает с 1986 года.
Лучшее время для посещения деревни - это период цветения вишни. Это связано с тем, что сезон цветения придает деревне особый вид. Сезон цветения длится с февраля по март, в зависимости от погодных условий.
В парке более 2000 вишневых деревьев, и каждый год ранней весной, в период с февраля по март, озеро Солнца и Луны, которое находится недалеко от деревни, и весь парк окружены вишневыми цветами. Это самое большое скопление цветущей сакуры в центральном Тайване.
Кроме того, в период празднования цветения вишни на каждую из вишневых деревьев вешаются фонарики.
Поскольку я танцевала в испанском шоу, нам было предоставлено общежитие в парке.
Таким образом, мы выступали , а также кайфовали от всех развлечений. Но если после 5 шоу в день через 2 недели уже становится скучно, то приехать на один день - это действительно НУЖНО СДЕЛАТЬ.
Очень рекомендую.
