It's another one of the must-do attractions in Tasmania.
Held every Saturday morning on Hobart's waterfront, it's crammed full of everything you can think of, from fresh fruit & veg, homewares, tourist stuff and everything in between.
And when the big cruise boats come in to town, it's a sea of humanity.

Salamanca Market Hobart Tasmania
We haven't been to Salamanca market for a very long time. Mind you last time we went we stocked up on so much jam, chutney, dukkah and other pantry items that we really didn't need to for a while LOL
The Salamanca Markets are extremely popular and also very busy but well worth a visit! you wont find trash and treasure there these markets are all class with artisan wares and local business selling everything from clothing, jewellery, wines, liquors, foods from all over the world and the list just goes on!
This is just a snippet of what to expect should you be lucky enough to make it down our way.

Hobart | Tasmania Travel Diary
Sometimes it takes a while to see the wonders in your own backyard. This was my first trip to Tasmania, the tiny island state off the south east coast of Australia. Its capital Hobart is a harbour city for food lovers that buzzes on weekends, with the famous Salamanca Market stretching for miles, and the edgy art gallery MONA attracting an international audience.

Kali ini kami berbagi pengalaman kami mengunjungi salah satu atraksi wisata terfavorit di Tasmania, yakni Salamanca Market.
Beberapa keunikan dari pasar ini antara lain: Pasar ini hanya buka pada hari sabtu dan dalam waktu yg terbatas, yakni dari jam 8.30 pagi sampai jam 3 siang.
Pasar ini dikelola langsung oleh Pemerintah City of Hobart dan hanya menjual produk-produk made in Tasmania.
Beberapa produk unik yg dijual antara lain, wine khas tasmania, produk kerajinan tasmania, handcrafted cheese, dan produk perhiasan.
Ketika kami datang ke Pasar ini, cuacanya kurang bersahabat (hujan), namun hal ini tidak menyurutkan animo masyarakat untuk mengunjungi pasar tradisional unik ini. Pasar ini tetap ramai seperti waktu-waktu sebelumya
