Shelburne Falls The Town of Tumbling Water

Titled: Shelburne Falls The Town of Tumbling Water
Shelburne Falls is not a town, but a village contained within two towns Buckland and Shelburne. It is located in Franklin County, in the western part of Massachussetts, along Rt 2 or The Mohawk Trail.
Major attractions are The Bridge of Flowers, an old trolly bridge transformed by the womens club of the town to it's present state. There is a Trolly Museum, where you can ride in the historic No. 10 Trolly! The Glacial Pot Holes, carved by nature during the last ice age.
Shelburne Falls is also the site of two recent movie productions: Labor Day and The Judge!

Fun road trip to the glacial pot holes in Shelburne Falls Massachusetts . Driving the roads of New England during the Autumn foliage is always beautiful and this was the perfect week to take the ride. We stopped at the Mohawk trail trading post along the way before making it to our destination. You have to see how large this spot is to really appreciate it. We also learned that the judge movie was filmed here adding to the history of the location.

2/25/2016 Shelburne Potholes Dam Break LOUD
As a warning this video is loud loud loud!
Well, as with pretty much every year, the dam broke again -_- We got a lot of rain last night. There is something mesmerizing about looking into the water when it is churning so fast. All I could smell was rain and all the silt from the river
Apologies for recording with a potato, the phone only takes so high of quality with all the mist and spray!

Big White Water Excitement in the Berkshire Mountains of western Massachusetts
The Monroe Bridge trip is full of big waves and fast whitewater rafting action! The fun starts right below the Monroe Bridge dam with Class II warm-up rapids and then leads to a stretch of bigger, Class III drops such as Devil's Odds and Landslide. Along the way our expert white water rafting guides take time to play and work the river in a surfing hole or two. Each rapid gets more exciting as the trip builds toward the final and most difficult rapids of the day, Dragons Tooth and The Terminator. These Massachusetts White Water rapids require precise maneuvering by your guide and strong paddling by each rafter. Good runs through these Class IV rapids climax an awesome day of whitewater action in the Berkshires. Click the Video box below for a cool look at this awesome trip.
