The famous Bruges (Brugge, Belgium) belfry houses the permanent exhibition called SALVADOR DALI Marquis de Pubol. The exhibition holds a vast collection of world-famous series of graphic work and a series of authentic sculptures.
The collection is on display in the unique and exclusive building, which has been decorated by Barron Saint Mythelfinger, the 360° artist designer of Grand Opera Decor. He transformed the medieval hall into a Dalínian showroom, a work of art on itself. Its colours are gold, mother-of-pearl and shocking pink. More info on dali-interart.be

To mark the tenth anniversary of the Magritte Museum, the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium have compiled more than one hundred works, which will take visitors on a journey through the universe of Salvador Dalí and initiate a dialogue with the oeuvre of René Magritte.

Visiting Dalí’s House Is Just...Surreal
If you’re a traveler, you find yourself visiting the homes of lots of dead people. My favorites are the studios of artists (painters, sculptors, composers) — and perhaps the best of all is Salvador Dalí's home in Cadaqués, Spain. In this clip, you’ll experience Dalí’s house with me: his crazy entryway, his penis-shaped pool, his studio (where he cleverly innovated an easel that could be raised and lowered, so he could paint while staying seated), and his delightful bedroom. At the entry, a statue of a warrior with a small child coming out of it greets visitors — a reminder to leave your aggressive spirit out and enter as a playful child.
I’m always impressed by how many of my favorite creative people were powered by their muse...their own Yoko Onos. It’s lots of fun to see the world Dalí created with his muse, Gala, and to consider the norms they trashed. Join me for a look at their home where, together, they would wake up and be the first in Spain to see the sunrise.

Op zondag 8 juli 2012 werd een kunstwerk van Salvador Dali gestolen uit de tentoonstellingsruimte in het Belfort van Brugge.
Op zondag 8 juli 2012 begeeft een verdachte zich in de galerij op de Markt 7 in Brugge. Hij/zij betreedt de tentoonstellingsruimte Museum - Gallery Xpo Salvador Dali in het Belfort en betaalt hiervoor 10 euro aan de inkom
De verdachte begeeft zich helemaal achteraan in de zaal. Er zijn 2 priëlen in de ruimte waardoor de verdachte aan het zicht van de andere bezoekers onttrokken wordt. Ondanks de aanwezigheid van camera's bereikt geen enkele de plaats van de diefstal.
De verdachte opent een kader en haalt er het kunstwerk, de tekening BABAOUO VI, uit en verbergt het om dan de tentoonstellingsruimte te verlaten.
Volgens de werkneemster zijn de feiten gebeurd tussen 16:00 en 17:09 uur.
