Playa Samara 2018

On the Nicoya Peninsula you can find many beautiful beaches, but it takes some time to get there from the rest of the country.
After the Long drive from Puriscal we reached Playa samara
This day there were larger than average waves.
Samara is a touristy small town where you can find all manner of trinkets and clothes.
We purchased a few items from the local artisans who have set up little stalls along the rear of the beachfront establishments and edge of the road.
we also had lunch at one of the beachfront restaurants looking out on the Pacific Ocean.
There are Quad adventure tours , horse back riding on the beach and many parks in the area,
Loungers with umbrellas, kayaks and surfboards are also available at beachfront locations, and fishing charters of all sizes come and go at all times each day.
