The purpose of the Good Samaritan Baptist Mission for forty years has been to preach the Gospel to spiritually starving people in Central America. God called Bob Tyson to leave his home in Villa Rica, Georgia and travel to a land he had never heard of.
After arriving in Nicaragua, he knew that without God’s help he would surely fail. Little did he know, that 40 years later, this mission would grow into a massive force with hundreds of pastors and churches throughout Central America with Eleven Christian Radio Stations, Five Christian Schools, and thousands of hungry children being fed everyday.
We also prepare and support National Pastors for the ministry in our Bible School in Honduras. There are 240 Churches established with men called by God to win their own people to the Lord.
Bob Tyson in 2007 went on to be with the Lord. His sons Philip and Steve Tyson and his wife Joan Tyson are now leading the work. We are not just a mission board, we are a Baptist Ministry with the purpose of spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the Lost in Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Mexico.

Off The Grid- AWA- Nicaragua- Building a Base
E1: Building a Base
Adventist World Aviation’s mission is to establish aviation operations in the most remote regions on the planet. In order to be most effective, AWA plants aviation outpost in isolated areas. It is from these outposts that aircraft are launched to provide lifesaving med-evac flights. However, because the nature of AWA’s work, missionaries are forced to find solutions of how to live in isolated areas. Each mission base must find ways to establish transpiration and logistical infrastructure in order to operation and fulfill their mission in the remote jungle. In Nicaragua, the Hanley family spent 10 years building a mission base in La Tronquera. They had to build a runway, housing, and a clinic. The process of establishing a base in a remote jungle setting wasn't an easy process, however, the work has proven to be fruitful.

Feeding Program Xiloa, NIcaragua
ATTN works in Xiloa, Nicaragua feeding, clothing & teaching children about the word of God. We started working there about 2 years ago. We ministered to a young Lady in prison in Nicaragua years ago and after being set free, she moved to Xiloa community. We were ministering there one day and she began to share with us how God had touched & changed her life though our ministry. She was living in a shack, so one of our partners gave us $4200.00 to build her a new home, After that we talked to her about starting a feeding program, so we added a shelter to the back of her home to house this feeding program, Thanks to the our partners we raised enough for the shelter, a bathroom, tables and chairs to start this program, Now because of loving people giving, we are able to minister Hot meals, clothing, toys and the word of God on a regular basis. Please look at the pictures below to see how these children are being blessed.
The cost for this program is $400.00 per month. As you can see from the pictures above that this is a great need and these children get blessed. If you would like to make a donation for this need, you can send your tax deductible donation to the address below or you may visit our Donations page and make your donation on-line via General Donations.
