Dog Sledding Tour and Reindeer Visit in Tromsø in February
Tromsø Birthday Trip❤️
Tromsø lies in Northern Norway, 350 km from the Artic Circle and is composed of mountains, islands and fjords. It is one of the best places to experience the Midnight Sun where the sun never sets, Polar Night where the sun is never visible, and the ever famous but unpredictable Aurora Borealis or Northern Lights.
Well that was actually the main goal of this trip, but to see the lights, weather should be perfect. Unfortunately, the weather during our trip was, as they call the typical norwegian winter weather- cold, wet and dark. Despite the turn of events, the trip was still wonderful. ❤️
This is not a video about chasing the spectacular northern lights. Days before the trip, weather forecast says weather in the weekend won´t be great. There were warnings of strong winds, avalanche, landslides and rain, and plus degrees, but as the Norwegian saying says, `DET ER INGEN DÅRLIG VÆR, BARE DÅRLIG KLÆR!’
Despite the weather, making the road slippery and wet and Fjellheisen closed, we did still enjoyed. We walked and drove around town and saw how wonderful this place is. The highlight of the trip was the dog sledding tour. It was worth the cold and money. The rain even made it even more exciting---the only downfall is that I couldn´t use my camera. We were even lucky to see reindeer at the Sami farm.
(Very thankful to our family and friends in Tromsø for the warm welcome and accommodation.) You made Pik´s birthday memorable. Vi er veldig takknemlig og glad i dere!

Tromsø-Senja-Lofoten Northern Lights Tour - January 2019
NORWAY january 2019
What an incredible trip! This time we went through a new route Tromsø - Senja - Lofoten islands that became our favourite! We explored the Northern Norway for 6 days and once we were close to be stuck in Lofoten islands because of enormous amount of snow (watch proofs in the video). However, our awesome driver and tour leader Riccardo did his best to don’t let anything (even nature) interfere with our trip and Alberto as always captured these beautiful memories in his own style ????
Many thanks to our wonderful participants:
- Donna Pangan
- Krassa Diakova
- Anuj
- Bascar Sami
Without you this trip wouldn’t be so charged of good energy. Hope to meet you again one day!
P.S. this time we didn't see so much Aurora on the land. But we watched it from the airplane ✈️ Check in our instagram:

ABOUT MY CHANNEL
I want to share my love, experiences, & knowledge so that I can hopefully help & learn from others. I want to be able to look back on my videos & see how much I have grown & re-live the experiences I have had. I also love to create, & YouTube helps me to fulfil that need
ABOUT 52 WEEKS OF PERSONAL GROWTH
Here is the playlist to watch all of my 52 Weeks Of Personal Growth videos and keep updated:
I have decided to film a very raw and real video with you every week of 2018. This year, I am really focusing on achieving as many of my goals as possible with one of the main focuses being personal growth.
I thought by sharing with everyone of you on YouTube, it would not only motivate me, but hopefully inspire others to work on themselves to. I believe looking after your body and mind is the most important thing you can do. Filming a short clip every week in 2018 will also allow me to look back on how I grow and change within a year.
I am inspired by people who are brave enough to share their bad with the good. Everyone has a bad day some just choose to hide it. I am hoping in this series I can work towards taking down the stigma of pretending everything and everyone is perfect. People always show the end result, how they feel and look AFTER they have done all the work to get there, I want to show theres nothing wrong with having a bad day. After all, without bad days we wouldn’t appreciate the good ones. 52 Weeks Of Personal Growth is just me talking to you about what I’m learning as it’s happening.
I hope this shows you that everyone struggles with something and motivates you to keep achieving your goals and working on yourself.
An Arctic Adventure - Tromsø
This is a short video from a weekend trip to Tromsø in February. This is also my channel’s first instalment from north of the arctic circle. Hopefully I will be back next winter for some more northern light, reindeers, arctic mountains and snow!
I visited Tromsø during the Sami Week, and the main events were Nordic Reindeer Racing Championship and Norwegian Lasso-Throwing Championships barriers go down along both sides of the whole of Tromsø’s main street, to create a track for some fast and furious reindeer racing. When the start signal goes, the reindeer burst out of their stalls, pulling their drivers after them on skis. Lasso-throwing is an art born of necessity in reindeer husbandry. It has become a regular sport practised by the Sami Sports Association, and the event in Tromsø is the official Norwegian championship.
I also went on a northern light safari. We were a small group of people in a mini bus chasing the solar winds from around 9PM until 2AM. We were really lucky and got to see some spectacular “aurora-dancing”.
Feel free to subscribe to my channel and share my videos with family.
