Durften selbst mit dem Rentierschlitten eine Runde drehen,
haben bei leckerem Kaffee und Kuchen einem magischen Yoik gelauscht. Schade, dass wir bald aufbrechen mussten, denn wir hatten an dem Tag noch viel vor...

Ein paar Tipps zum Gelingen: Da ich absolute Amateurin in Timelapse und Fotografie insgesamt bin und wirklich aus Lust am Tun und später genießen unterwegs bin, bin ich sehr glücklich mit meiner Ausrüstung dieses Ergebnis erreicht zu haben. Wochenlang gegrübelt ob das Foto-Equipement für Nordlichter reichen wird:
Kamera:
Canon 700d - für die ich vor knapp zwei Jahren viel mehr bezahlt hab ;-)
Objektiv:
Weitwinkel Canon 10-18mm STM 1.4.5-5.6
Einstellungen:
ISO: 1600, 10 mm, 4.5, 15sec.
Den Endlos-Schärfe-Punkt noch bei Tag gesucht und festgeklebt ;-)
(bestimmt nicht der Feinmotoriker-Tipp für Fachleute - aber es funzt!)
Super (meine Meinung) Stativ:
Rollei C6i - Kamerastativ mit Stativkopf und Tasche - Aluminium - Arca Swiss kompatibel
Prima Fernauslöser am Kabel:
Ersatzbatterien.
Akkus am Körper und geladen.
Und dass will nun vielleicht wirklich kein Profi hören - hatte
aber nach dem Komplettausstieg der Kamera bei Eisregen am Saltstraumen Sinn: Habe ein Paar Socken geopfert - vorne aufgeschnitten und da das Objektiv eh festgeklebt war - übergestülpt, damit die Kamera nicht sooo kalt wird ;-)

Aber nun zum FILM und ERLEBNIS - und WOOOWWW!
Wir waren einfach geflasht - und immer wenn das Nordlicht stärker wurde fingen die Hunde der benachbarten Huskyfarm an zu heulen. Gigantisches Erlebnis, dass man kaum in Worte fassen kann.
Mit freundlicher Erlaubnis der Sami-Familie, die wir morgens besucht haben, darf ich den Yoik den sie speziell für ihr Sami-Camp singen, verwenden. DANKE an euch:
Wir haben das Camp privat besucht am Morgen dieses Tages - es war wunderschön - davon mehr im Reisebericht und folgendem Video über ALTA und Umland. Ab nächstem Jahr bieten sie auch Rentierschlittenfahrt mit Polarlicht-Suche an....
Die Nordlichter bekamen einen eigenen Platz.
Direkt als wir mit dem Bus im 35 km vom Hafen - in den Bergen gelegenen Camp ankommen, sagt einer - hopp - nicht lange reden, die Lichter sind schon da.....und der Kleine Wagen fuhr in den 4 Stunden mitten durch ;-)

Genießer-Tipp: Vollbildmodus ohneFremd-/Umgebungslicht des Bildschirms, da das Video nicht künstlich aufgehellt wurde...
So war für uns die Stimmung, daher lasse ich es dunkel.

Ahoi Ihr Lieben,
in meinem neuen Video zeige ich Euch eine weitere Etappe meiner Tromsø-Reise. Ich war zu Besuch bei den Sami und durfte einen kleinen Einblick in deren Kultur erleben.
Perfekt angepasst an die raue Natur leben die Menschen der Sami auch heute noch sehr traditionell in und mit der Natur, leben von und mit den Rentieren. Es war eine unglaublich spannende Erfahrung für mich zu erleben, wie dieses traditionsbewußte Volk den Spagat zwischen ihrer Tradition und der Entwicklung der Moderne meistert.
Viel Spaß beim anschauen und hinterlasst mir gern Euer Feedback. Teilen ist natürlich ebenfalls top!

The cruiseship Aida Cara visited Sortland
This is a film I made for Sortland harbour when the beautiful ship Aida Cara visited Sortland in february 2018. Together with some of the tourist I joined them for a couple of tours that you can see here. One of them is to Sami Siida where you can here about Sami tradition and get really close to the reindeers. The second trip was with a boat to Raftsundet and Trollfjorden were we get really close to Vesterålen fjords and mountains. Hope you like what you see and want to visit beautiful Vesterålen.
