Life inside San Juan Gate Puerto Rico
San Juan is the capital and most populous city in Puerto Rico.
Founded in 1521 by Juan Ponce de León, who named it City of Puerto Rico (Rich Port).
Well the most interesting was, If you were a dignitary arriving from Spain in the 1500s through the 1800s, you would enter the city through this gate.
To day it serves to all and clearly is understood the gate when you go through rather way.

Jeremiah & Lindsay's Old San Juan wedding
Lindsay & Jeremiah decided to elope in Puerto Rico while on a stop with their Caribbean cruise. They wanted a small and intimate ceremony celebrating their love, and were particularly interested in historic architecture and the streets and dooways of Old San Juan. They contacted Puerto Rico Destination Weddings (prdestinationweddings.com) about a month before their vacation, to help with their dream of a Puerto Rico wedding, and we were happy to help!
Marquez Photography delivered on their beautiful and fun video, perfectly capturing the vibe of the day, and AJR Photo Studios provided amazing photos.
Like many of our couples, we communicated back and forth via email for several weeks, making sure that our Puerto Rico elopement package was customized to meet all their needs. We were able to easily help them with advice on when and where to have their ceremony, and possibilities for the most beautiful photos, video, and overall elopement experience for their Puerto Rico wedding.
After their cruise ship diverted due to rough seas, plans were
changed a bit, but, as we always say, whatever is meant to happen with a destination wedding will happen, and it certainly did for Lindsay & Jeremiah. They ultimately decided to have their Puerto Rico wedding in Old San Juan. We met at the amazing Cuartel de Ballaja for them to change and have a dramatic ‘first look’ in the middle of the courtyard. A walk through the streets of Old San Juan allowed for amazing pictures and video before finding their perfect wedding spot.
They chose our Puerto Rico elopement package, which includes:
-full legal and documentation support, including checklists of exactly what you need to prepare and when
-a customized non-denominational ceremony in keeping with exactly what you want your wedding experience to be
-registration of your marriage afterwards at the appropriate government office (you need not accompany us)
-an hour's professional photography time, resulting in 100-150 photos delivered digitally within one week of the wedding
-beautiful Puerto Rico videography capturing the day, including drone footage, and delivered in two weeks
Lindsay & Jeremiah, it was our to be a part of your Old San Juan wedding, and we wish you all the best in the future!
