After spending a month in Nosara, we decided to head up the coast and do a bit of exploring, our first stop, San Juanillo for some snorkeling, then up to Playa Marbella for the night!

Tome en cuenta que es muy visitada debido a lo única que es, asi que si no le gusta el llenazo de gente vaya en temporada baja.

In this video we take a road trip North of Playa Samara and go to Playa San Juanillo. We take the coastal road north through dried up rivers and a bumpy road to get to this piece of Paradise! It is similar to Koh Nang Yuan in Thailand with the beach on both sides with a vantage point. Enjoy the video!

For travelers who come to Costa Rica in search of the “true” Costa Rican experience, San Juanillo has been providing that to visitors from around the globe for decades.

San Juanillo Village itself is relatively small which makes for a cultural experience that is nothing short of a pure traditional daily life for anyone who is a “tico”.

The entire Guanacaste Province is the most visited in Costa Rica, yet it is also one of the lastly populated parts of the country.
