Spain Travel Guide - San Martin Church in Trujillo
Take a tour of San Martin Church in Trujillo in Spain -- part of the World's Greatest Attractions travel video series by GeoBeats.
In the Plaza Mayor, Trujillo's central square, visitors can find the San Martin Church.
It is quite visibly a structure of prolific history, the fading façade of the church attests to its centuries of use.
The nearby statue is of Trujillo native, Francisco Pizarro, an explorer of the New World.
The church itself is the final resting place of many of Trujillo's lords and conquistadors.
Visible in San Martin's clock tower are the nests of storks, which are common local birds.
As the town centerpiece, the Plaza Mayor, and consequently the Church of San Martin, hosts several important celebrations.

Sights and sounds of Segovia in Spain with special emphasis on its two biggest attractions. The first is the enormous remains of the Roman aqueduct built there in the first century by the Emperor Domitian to transport water from the nearby mountains 17 kilometres away, and the second is its massive cathedral, built between 1525 and 1577 in a late Gothic style that was already disappearing in the rest of Europe at the time.
