Transcript: Hi I'm here in San Miguel de Allende. It's in Mexico. It's a beautiful old historic town. Wonderful people, incredible food,
beautiful views, a lot of culture it's my first time in Mexico.
I had always kind of been hesitant about coming to Mexico cuz hear about the bad water and some of the crime in some of the more touristy areas. This is some place that I would come back to in a heartbeat. Like I said I never wanted to come to Mexico now I'm already looking online for vacation plans to bring my family
back here to San Miguel de Allende. It's beautiful. I am so relaxed here.
It's good to kind of decompress and relieve some stress. I'm here for a
corporate presentation I had my comedy mind reading mentalism show last night for a group of only 18 people from the US. They all flew out this morning. They had one final party last night that I performed at and I have another couple of days here to explore. I got here the day before my presentation and had a chance to explore the town. Now there was a lot of parades and festivals going on.
It's a big festival festival weekend here it's Saint Michael's
birthday and they have people up on poles swinging from their from their feet on ropes. They had parades. They had so many things going on and I don't know if you can hear in the background about a mile down the hill maybe half mile there's other festivals going on today too. It's just an incredible incredible city and I can't wait to bring my family back here on vacation.
As I was walking around town yesterday I noticed a lot of stray dogs one in particular followed me all the way back here to where I'm staying. Now I didn't have permission from the owners to bring it in so I didn't, but it was thirsty, it was hungry. I went in my room here at my bed and breakfast and got some water but by the time I got back it was already gone.
So today I have some water I have three bottles and I can get more and I'm gonna try to find some dogs and let them have some food, have some water and just kind of check out the the culture here, check out some of the the places to eat and the markets and everything else and I thought I'd take you along with me to let you experience San Miguel de Allende. I hope I said that
right I always screw it up but it's an incredible town and I know you'd love it.
Everybody I run into here has been in here for vacation has been here for vacation at least two or three times they all say they usually don't go back to some place more than once or twice and they keep coming back and back and back. I love it here I want you to experience it with me and I hope you enjoy my little tour.
I was getting hungry so I stopped at a little food stand that was selling this corn. It's grilled, they put butter on it and some chili powder. It's not spicy at all it's just honestly the best corn I've ever had.
Sadly, I couldn't find any street dogs to give water or food to but I will be back there tomorrow to try to find some. Until next time, I hope you're having a great day wherever you are. The Best Souvenir Shopping in Mexico? Walking Tour | San Miguel de Allende
Let's walk and shop through the Mercado de Artesanías to Fabrica la Aurora in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.
The former is a side street that's dedicated to arts and crafts that make for some excellent souvenirs. While Fabrica la Aurora is a factory-turn-art-gallery-high-end-shopping center.
The city has plenty of other places to shop that we'll explore later.

Welcome to San Miguel de Allende, Mexico!
It is considered one of the most beautiful cities in Mexico and in 2008 it was recognized, along with the Sanctuary of Jesus of Atotonilco, as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Its attractive and cosmopolitan appearance makes it one of the favorite destinations for art enthusiasts. There is plenty of sites to visit, and they all stand out the city’s historical and architectural heritage.
One of the sites that you must see is the San Miguel Arcangel Parish. It has become the hallmark of the city. It is a beautiful temple of the end of the century. Other must places in San Miguel de Allende are the handicraft market of the city or the archeological zone of Cañada la Virgen.
In the market there is a sample of the local craftsmanship made of metals, papier mache, blown glass and more. Its cobbled streets, wooded courtyards, fine architectural details and sumptuous interiors will enchant you; perhaps that is the reason why CN Travel declared it one of the twenty-five best cities chosen by the travelers.
