???????? 「Aruba, Caribbean」Eagle Beach
Caribbean with baby
Eagle Beach in Aruba is one of the most breathtaking beaches on the island. Boasting the widest beach in Aruba and famous for its pristine and soft white sands, Eagle Beach offers a clear, sparkling Caribbean, ample parking, shaded picnic areas, some huts, and a variety of motorized water sports. Eagle beach won the 2017 TripAdvisor Traveler Award for 3rd Best Beach in the World, and has won many other awards throughout the years.
A few months per year Aruba Eagle Beach is dotted with red and white markers to protect turtle nests. The turtles hatch mostly around sunset and at night. Four species of sea turtles nest in Aruba - Leatherback, Loggerhead, Green and Hawksbill. Turtles can have their nest anywhere on the island, however most nests can be found on Eagle Beach in Aruba. Each nest contains some 80 eggs. Watching the hatchlings find their way to the ocean conquering the sand and waves is a unique vacation experience in Aruba.
Several of the Aruba low rise hotels are nearby and just across the road; some provide cabanas and lounges for their guests. Every year during Easter week in Aruba, tents dot the coastline as local families enjoy the tradition of camping out.
Eagle Beach is also home to two of the most photographed and renowned fofoti trees in Aruba, with its trademark silhouette pointing in the direction of the Caribbean. These trees have been starring in various Aruba advertising campaigns as unique and highly recognizable features. The trees are extremely popular to serve as a backdrop for wedding photo sessions and tourist snap shots of this pristine Aruba beach.
During weekends Aruba beach tennis fanatics play their tennis games in the powdery white sands of Eagle Beach. It’s great fun to watch and participate in this popular local sport.

The West Deck Aruba Restaurant
Dine oceanfront at The West Deck, located along the Linear Park and just steps from downtown Oranjestad.
The restaurant is set on a large wooden deck over a white sand beach right by the water’s edge. All the tables have spectacular ocean views, also on cruise boats passing by and airplanes landing.
Our vision for this restaurant was based on its location: a large deck overlooking the west side of our island. Tranquil, serene, and full of Caribbean flavor. The setting is casual and fun, and you are welcome just for drinks, or join us for a relaxed lunch or dinner in the perfect place.
Try some of our special Margaritas, our vegetarian samosas or our garlic shrimps, based on a secret recipe. The informal and Caribbean atmosphere attracts locals and visitors that are interested in a more authentic island experience.
The West Deck is open for lunch and dinner. It tends to get busy at this local hotspot, especially at night.Adjacent to the deck you will find a cosy garden with picnic tables on white sand, and twinkling lights in the trees. Excellent for groups and small parties.

Hotel Review: Barcelo Aruba
Who doesn't love expansive beaches and over 300 days of sunshine a year? Aruba is home to endless hotels along some of the most beautiful beachfront you'lll ever see.
In this video, we'll tell you all about the Barcelo Hotel Group's Aruba property. This was our second time in Aruba and it will certainly not be our last. While some areas could be improved, we had an overall positive experience and the location on Palm Beach is absolutely unbeatable! If you're traveling as a family, solo, friends or couple, Aruba really does have something for everyone and it's impossible to be bored, unless that is...you want to be.
NOTE: We were hosted by the Barcelo Aruba for the stay.
Here's what you'll learn:
00:54 - Location
01:53 - Lobby & Check in
03:41 - Rooms
06:03 - Service
07:13 - Dining
09:48 - Facilities
10:37 - Style
As promised, check out our review of the Marriott Stellaris in Aruba here:
While dining left much to be desired, the property really offers so much to its guests, particularly at the Royal Level. From a private, top floor check in to a lounge available to guests at all times, the Royal Level is a worthwhile upgrade.
The beachfront is arguably the best feature of the property. Be sure to get up early if you're looking for shade, but there are ample beach chairs available for guests on the sandy shores of Palm Beach. As a royal level guest, you have access to a bar on the beach as well, without the need to go to the pool bar.
If you're debating between a suite and a standard room, we recommend at least upgrading to the Royal Suite. However, we have to say - the suite was pretty incredible! Direct oceanfront views and a massive living, dining and bedroom, you cannot go wrong.
Directly behind the property are a number of shops and restaurants if you're looking for a place to go after the sun sets over the beautiful ocean. Max and I were on the all-inclusive plan so we did not explore the restaurants this time, but heard amazing things about the food in Aruba just outside the hotels. You can also buy trinkets, jewelry, purses and crafts at the local night market.
Lastly, the activities available are truly exceptional. There is something for everyone in Aruba, whether you're looking to go to the spa, experience intense water sports or explore the island.

Jolly Pirates Cruise | MooMba Beach, Aruba
So far in our journey through Aruba we found the Elk Horn coral, we visited the Quadirikiri Caves, we swam in the ‘Conchi’ Natural Pool, and in this episode, we will take a booze cruise with the Jolly Pirates.
We will depart from MooMba Beach located between the Holiday Inn and Marriott Resorts.
So just sit right back and you'll see a tale, a tale of a great full trip.
That started from a tropic port aboard an 85 foot ship.
Twenty Five passengers set sail that day, for a 3 hour tour.
Our 3 hour tour will take us to visit two snorkeling sites, explore a WWII shipwreck, and rope swing!
If you visit Aruba I strongly advise to book a tour with Jolly Pirates.
They include snorkeling gear, have a live DJ on board, and mix fresh drinks.
I had an absolute blast and will definitely come back and visit them.
