Getting to Horseshoe Bay Beach Bermuda (2018)
Horseshoe Bay Beach is one of the top beaches in Bermuda. If your cruise ship docks in Bermuda, you owe it to yourself to at least go there to take a photo.
See the timelapse of Carnival Horizon leaving NYC and leaving Bermuda here:
I found the easiest way to go there was to use a shuttle that was waiting outside of the pier. For $7 they will take you to Horseshoe Bay Beach. The ride is about 20-15 minutes and is very scenic. The best option is to sit in the front seat of grab a window seat because you'll want to take some photos.
You can get a full review of Horseshoe Bay Beach:

More about the concept of Travel by Dart that I proudly made public:
I am usually doing this with my friend Matt for a show called Travel by Dart, but I also do it myself as lifestyle.
This first dart hit Svalbard, an archipelago close to the North Pole, where they went for three weeks during Christmas and New Year. Inspiration travel.
After that we went to many other locations, such as Russia, Easter Island, Indonesia, etc. Here are the stories:
Svalbard/North Pole episode:
Russia episode:
Easter Island episode:
Indonesia episode:
Travel by Dart is a series that combines adventure travel, reality TV and philanthropy. Each episode two friends throw a dart a the worlds map and travel wherever it lands, no matter the remoteness, cost or difficulty.
Covering every continent on the globe, from the sands of Oman to the most remote islands of Polynesia (and beyond), over 12 episodes they uncover the history, cuisine and richness of culture that connects the world together, while seeking one distinct and outside-the-box way to bring help or positive change to the people or the land they visit.
With the goal of seeking to find the common bond of friendship and kindred love that ties the world together, every trip is fuelled entirely from their own resourcefulness.
Here is our official trailer:
With no fancy television studios, production companies or financial help, they film their entire journey step-by- step from beginning to end, proving that travelling to every continent on the globe, living your wildest dreams and getting past the challenges of the mundane work-life is entirely possible if you put your mind to it. Do you have what it takes to travel by dart?

Check Out Our NEW RIDE!! (MJ Sailing - EP 95)
We may have left Elements behind, but we're not finished with our sailing just yet!
After hopping on a plane and traveling nearly half way around the world, we land in Bangkok to start our 90 days outside the EU. And luckily for us, we're still managing to fit in a little sailing while we're gone! We're working with Island Spirit Yacht Charters out of Koh Chang to take out one of their catamarans for the next two weeks!
Our first task is to get down to this island on the SE side of Thailand, and when we arrive we have a week to acclimate ourselves to a new culture we have not experienced before. Then, we provision ourselves up and take the local version of a taxi to the charter base on the south end of the island.
After receiving a tour and the run down on this boat that would now be ours for the next two weeks, we're set loose once again into tropical waters and white sand beaches.
Much love from Thailand!

Hermes Wreck Bermuda | Blue Horizon Diving
Adventure of the Hermes Wreck in Bermuda.
Built in 1943 in Pennsylvania, the Hermes was originally used as a U.S. Coast Guard buoy tender until the end of World War II.
The steel vessel featured a tall mast forward of the wheelhouse and was fitted with a single cargo boom. The cargo hatch itself was on the foredeck – a unique design to accommodate raising and lowering navigation buoys for repair and replacement.
After being decommissioned, the ship was turned into a freighter registered in Panama under the name Brava Fogo, which relocated to the Philippines to carry mixed cargo.
In 1983, en route from Rhode Island to the Cape Verde Islands, the small freighter experienced engine trouble off the coast of Bermuda and barely reached St. Georges Harbour. There was no money available for repairs and the crew hadn’t been paid any wages for months, so the ship was abandoned. Even the cargo of second-hand gifts had little value.
The Bermudan Government took possession of the ship and sold her to the Bermuda Dive Association for the sum of one U.S. dollar. The Hermes was thoroughly cleaned and made ‘diver friendly’ before being towed approximately one mile off the south shore near Horseshoe Bay.
The ship was more than 40 years old when she was scuttled on May 15, 1984 to become an artificial reef and dive site.
Current Conditions:
The wreck of the Hermes is one of Bermuda’s most popular dive sites, located approximately 1.8 km south of Warwick Long Bay Beach and teeming with marine life.
She lies almost fully intact and upright on a flat sand bottom at a depth of 23m/75ft against the deep reef after the wreck shifted 200 yards during Hurricane Emily in 1985.
The top of the crew area is 15m/50ft from the surface, and underwater visibility is usually very good at around 30m/100ft most of the year.
Divers can either skirt around the outside of the wreck or penetrate deep within. Main features include the engines, mast, toilet, wash basin and cargo boom, which used to pick up the buoys. While small, the vessel is popular with divers and photographers because she is completely intact.

PUERTO RICO: HURRICANE GEORGE BEARS DOWN ON ISLAND
Span/Eng/Nat
Thousands of people have evacuated their homes in Puerto Rico as winds of 110-mph (175-kph) bear down on the island.
'Hurricane Georges' has flooded roads, toppled trees and utility lines in the neighbouring islands of Antigua and the Virgin Islands, and is set to hit Puerto Rico later on Monday.
Authorities have declared a state of emergency and employed National Guard troops to help with evacuations.
The Caribbean island of Puerto Rico is continuing to brace itself for the onslaught of Hurricane 'Georges'.
Georges' strength has diminished considerably from the 150 mph (240 kph) peak it hit on Sunday.
But the U-S National Hurricane Centre issued a warning that the storm was still extremely dangerous and capable of extensive damage.
Markets had been full for two days as people stock up on water and food before the hurricane's arrival.
Now streets in Puerto Rico's capital, San Juan, are deserted as shopkeepers board up windows.
Thousands of residents have moved into over 330 makeshift shelters set up in schools and gymnasiums.
SOUNDBITE: (Spanish)
What we are going to do is to move a little bit further up from this building?
Q: And why, do you think you are going to be safe there?
A: No is not because of the wind but because of the violent seas, we want to be safe so we are moving up the hill.
SUPER CAPTION: Jesus Barreto, Resident of La Perla
Advance teams from the U-S Federal Emergency Management Agency, the FBI and the American Red Cross arrived in Puerto Rico to co-ordinate disaster response.
The FEMA has also organized a 62-member search and rescue team in Miami to fly to the country after the storm passes.
National Guard troops patrol the streets and assist with on-going evacuations.
At this Red Cross Centre of Operations, everything is in place for the expected onslaught.
SOUNDBITE: (English)
Yesterday we opened the shelters and people started moving into the shelters to a safe area and all the agencies, the government agencies are prepared to wait for the impact of the hurricane.
SUPER CAPTION: Carmen Rita Ramos, Director of Community Services
Georges is moving west-northwest towards Puerto Rico at 17 mph (28 kph).
As yet there have been no immediate reports of injuries.
Banks and schools closed on Monday and major airlines have cancelled flights to and from the U-S mainland.
With 20-foot seas forecast, ferry services to other islands have also been cancelled.
To add to the countries worries, up to fifteen inches (38 cms) of rain was expected in the mountains, raising the threat of mudslides.
The Carribean island was last damaged by heavy winds when Hurricane Luis caused hundreds of millions of dollars' damage in 1995.
