Massive Sandbar(Brown) Shark, Atlantic City NJ
7ft Brown Shark caught with 20lb mainline and 180lb mono leader near AC Reef. Released after 2 hours. Reel cracked in half after fight. Larger than any Sandbar shark recorded by NOAAs shark tagging program. Would likely have been a state record.

New Jersey shark attack
This video was shot in Ocean City, NJ in August of 2010 while vacationing. I know it's zoomed out, but if you look close, you can see the shark's tail come out of the water twice as the boy's legs were under attack. You can also hear some people scream. They think they caught the shark, a 6-1/2 foot Bull Shark. I guess the boy is OK.
Talk about being in the right place at the right time. I can't believe I got this on tape. Suggest watching full screen.

Mini golfing at the Sand Trap on LBI.
A great family activity on Long Beach Island (one of many courses). The Sand Trap has been around since the mid-1970s, and doesn't go crazy with obstacles. It's mostly a game of figuring out the right path around the angled or bending greens.
Catching Crabs at Night on the Beach!
Oregon Coast Day 1: My old man and I found dungeness crabs while walking around in the surf on our beach! We struck the mother-load as we got closer to some rocks and were about to start crabbing with traps when we realized we were close to a wildlife refuge! We have to do our crabbing outside of that area but the rest of the coast is open! Plenty of crabbing coming up this week! Thank you for watching!

Rare Shark Feeding Frenzy in North Carolina
On Thursday, October 9 at around noon, while at a retreat at Cape Lookout National Seashore off the coast of North Carolina, the leaders of One Harbor Church witnessed a shark feeding frenzy. The men were out fishing for the evening’s dinner when they stumbled across more than 100 sharks attacking a school of blue fish. As seagulls and pelicans joined in on the meal, the men began to cast into the surf, catching fish without the use of bait. For more than five minutes, the sharks were observed swimming in and out of the surf, some of which became beached in the fury. Donnie Griggs, the cameraman who captured the footage, is an avid waterman who spearfishes, dives, swims and surfs at Cape Lookout often. We want it to be clear that Cape Lookout and the surrounding beaches of Eastern North Carolina are extremely safe for swimming. The presence of these sharks and large schools of fish is actually a sign of a very healthy ecosystem.

Shark Attacks our Giant Tuna
In this episode, I go fishing offshore with Carl from Slob City Fishing Charters using live bait to catch kingfish, sailfish, dolphin, and blackfin tuna. We used four kite baits and several flat-lined baits. Our first bite was a solid kingfish (estimated around 25-30lbs). Shortly after, we caught a dolphin (mahi-mahi), two smaller kingfish and a mutton snapper! While Carl was reeling in a kingfish, one of the flat lines started bending! Sailfish on! While I was fighting the sailfish, a hammerhead shark appeared out of nowhere and ate Carl's kite bait. Carl nearly got spooled by the hammerhead! As I was landing the sailfish, the hammerhead broke the line on Carl's reel. Later in the day, Carl hooked another hammerhead shark, but unfortunately, this shark broke the fishing line as well! At the end of the day, both Carl and I hooked two fish that we believed were tuna. I managed to catch mine before Carl; it turned out to be a bonito (false albacore). Carl got his fish to the boat; it was a giant blackfin tuna (over 30lbs)!! A sandbar shark attacked the blackfin tuna and nearly took half the fish! We worked all day to get that tuna bite, and at the end, the shark ended up taking half of the fish. We still had a great day on the water and caught a bunch of excellent fish!!
