As part of Irelynn's reward for completing her reading challenge, we flew to Blackpool to visit Sand Castle Water Park.
We had planned to use our GoPro to record the water slides, but the park has a new policy which does not allow GoPro or any recording in the water, so our pics and videos aren't as exciting as we had planned.
Our time at the South and Central pier was a lot of fun and the weather was perfect on our last day.

Blackpool Pleasure Beach | Sandcastle Water Park | Blackpool Tower
Blackpool Pleasure Beach is a beautiful beach in Blackpool of United Kingdom. Blackpool Pleasure Beach consists of rides like 360 roller coaster etc. On the beach you can also see Sandcastle Water Park which is a good place during the summer. It contains some very good rides. At some little distance you can also see Blackpool Tower. From a distance it looks like Paris Eiffel Tower. You can go on the top of the tower by using a lift. On the top you can also walk on the glass floor. In front of the tower you can see Comedy Carpet which looks like some newspaper cuttings. It is a beautiful beach and is a must visit place in UK.

World's Longest Indoor Coaster Slide | Master Blaster | Sandcastle Waterpark
This is the Master Blaster water slide at Sandcastle Waterpark in Blackpool, England. The ride is the signature attraction of the park and is considered the longest indoor water roller coaster in the world. After three powerful uphill sections with waterjets, the slide continues outside the building. In this part of the ride, loudspeakers permanently play the announcement Here we go, hold on tight - honestly, we are not sure if that is really necessary. After another two uphill sections and a huge final drop, guests end their ride in the shallow run-out pool where they have to hand their tube to the next guest waiting in line.

Dies ist der Master Blaster im Sandcastle Waterpark in Blackpool, England. Es handelt sich dabei um die Hauptattraktion des Parks und wird als längeste Indoor-Wasserachterbahn der Welt bezeichnet. Nach drei kraftvollen Aufwärtsstrecken, in denen man mit Wasserdruck nach oben gepustet wird, führt die Rutsche außerhalb des Gebäudes weiter. In diesem Abstand ertönt permanent eine Durchsage, die einen daran erinnert, sich auch gut festzuhalten - ob das wirklich notwendig ist, sei mal dahingestellt. Nach zwei weiteren Aufwärtsstrecken und einem großen Drop erreicht man schließlich das Flachwasserlandebecken. Dort muss man seinen Reifen an die nächste Person in der Warteschlange übergeben.

These are the Duelling Dragons water slides at Sandcastle Waterpark Blackpool in England. The attraction consists of two speed slides starting and ending next to eachother, allowing guests to race. While the red slide is almost completely dark on the inside, the green one is translucent and is letting in some daylight during the ride.

Dies sind die Duelling Dragons Wasserrutschen im Sandcastle Waterpark Blackpool, England. Die Attraktion besteht aus zwei Turborutschen, die nebeneinander starten und enden und so Rennen ermöglichen. Während die rote Rutsche im Inneren nahezu komplett dunkel ist, ist die grüne Bahn transluzent und lässt so während der Fahrt Tageslicht in die Rutsche hinein.
