Come follow us on the Whalebone Trail...Gabriola Island!
For my love of all the fabulous walks that we take daily on this beautiful island...I am making a video trail walk for my faves! (oh boy...that could be like 30!) Gabriola is full of beautiful scenic walks...beach trails, forest trails and combos of the two! :o) This truly is one of the most special places on earth. Oh Gabriola...I love you!
This walk is through the Whalebone Trail...taking you to the waterfall which also leads you on a whole other walk. We turned around at the waterfall...I have an elderly dog along...but she seems to have a ton of stamina! (Oh Maggie!) We found a very muddy path that we could take down to the beach for some fun. There is a beautiful staircase that brings you down...but not if you can't make a 4' drop/jump. We did this walk on January 2, 2013...so it's wet and full of little creeks, moss and a lot of funghi! It's a fresh and fabulous walk. Good for the soul.
Anyways...come along with us on our walk. We ALWAYS have a great time.
