The 500-year-old door is artistic and has inscriptions from Quran on the panel of the door.

Forts Of India - Bijapur Fort, Karnataka - Ep # 5
Ep#5 of Forts of India: The Bijapur Fort (Vijapur kote) is located in the Bijapur city in Bijapur District of the Indian state of Karnataka. The rich history of the fort, the citadel, and other structures is subsumed in the history of Bijapur city, which was established in the 10th–11th centuries by the Kalyani Chalukyas.
The city came under the influence of the Khalji Sultanate in Delhi by the late 13th century. In 1347, the area was conquered by the Bahmani Sultanate of Gulbarga.

The one-time capital of the Adil Shahi kings (1489-1686), Bijapur is dotted with mosques, mausoleums, palaces, fortifications, watchtowers and strong gateways, with the massive Gol Gumbaz dominating the landscape for miles around.

The movie story is about Suman who lives a wealthy lifestyle along with her widower dad, Thakur Ranvir Singh, and an unmarried aunt, Damyanti, in a palatial house in Bombay. They are direct descendants of Raja Hariman Singh of Bijapur. When Ranvir finds out that Suman is in love with a middle-classed male, Sanjay, he expresses displeasure and forbids her to ever see him again. When she persists, he tells her that there is a curse on the entire family - a curse that was inflicted 200 years ago by a blood-thirsty, flesh-eating demon named Samri. This curse impacts only women in their family, who are hideously transformed after giving birth to their firstborn, and die a painful death. Treating this as mere superstitious, Suman and Sanjay, along with Sanjay's friend, Anand and his wife, Sapna, set out to Bijapur to unearth and put an end to this rumor - not knowing that soon they will resurrect a virtually indestructible Samri - who is out to kill the remainder of the Singh family before wrecking havoc on the region.

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started “travel hacking” and taking more trips together and finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and travel hacking over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. Hawa Mahal is a palace in Jaipur, India. It is made of red and pink sandstone. The palace is on the edge of the City Palace of Jaipur, and extends to the Zenana.
There are 953 windows in this monument, from where in ancient times all the ladies of royal families used to see all the festivals and opportunities as well as the day-to-day life in the state ... because at that time There was a tradition to follow the curtain practice. Apart from these, there was a cold breeze from these windows, which made it easier for people of the royal family to fight in the hot season. This is why it is called Hawa Mahal

Mysore Palace
The Palace of Mysore (also known as the Amba Vilas Palace) is a palace situated in the city of Mysore in southern India. It is the official residence of the Wodeyars - the erstwhile royal family of Mysore, which ruled the princely state of Mysore for over seven centuries. The palace also houses two durbar halls (ceremonial meeting hall of the royal court).
Mysore is commonly described as the City of Palaces, however, the term Mysore Palace specifically refers to one within the old fort. The Wodeyar kings first built a palace in Mysore in the 14th century, it was demolished and constructed multiple times. The current palace construction was commissioned in 1897, and it was completed in 1912 and expanded later around 1940.
Mysore palace is now one of the most famous tourist attractions in India after Taj Mahal with more than 2.7 million visitors.[1] Although tourists are allowed to visit the palace, they are not allowed to take photographs inside the palace. Price of admission for foreign tourists is 200 INR., and for Indians 40 INR. All visitors must remove their footwear to enter the palace.
The regent of Mysore, Maharani Vani Vilas Sannidhna, commissioned a British architect, Henry Irwin, to build yet another palace in its place.[2] The construction was completed in year 1912. But slowly the beautification of the fort was also taken up and the inhabitants of the fort were slowly shifted out to newer Extension built outside. The present Public Durbar Hall wing was also added much later around 1940.

शाही परिवारों की लिस्ट में राजकोट में रहने वाला राजकोट रॉयल परिवार पांचवे नंबर पर है | इस रॉयल फैमिली के पास अरबों रुपए की प्रॉपर्टी है इस राजघराने के प्रमुख युवराज मांधातासिन जडेजा हैं | मंधातासीन जडेजा अब पूरी तरह से बिजनेस में उतर चुके हैं और उन्होंने हाइड्रो पावर प्लांट और बायो फ्यूल डेवेलोपेमेंट के क्षेत्र में करीब 100 करोड़ रुपए का इन्वेस्ट भी किया है|
6. अलसीसर की रॉयल फैमिली, अलसीसर
इस लिस्ट में छठे स्थान पर राजस्थान की अलसीसर रॉयल फैमिली है जिसके मुखिया अभिमन्यु सिंह हैं। इन्हें खेत्री का राजा भी कहा जाता है। इस रॉयल फैमिली की जयपुर और रणथंभौर में कई बड़ी हवेलियां हैं। ये हर साल होने वाले इलेक्ट्रॉनिक डांस फेस्टिवल, मैग्नेटिक फील्ड के को-स्पॉन्सर भी हैं।
7. बीकानेर शाही परिवार, बीकानेर
बीकानेर के शाही परिवार के भी अपने अमीरी के अलग ही किस्से रहे हैं. फिलहाल इस फैमिली की एकमात्र वारिस राज्यश्री कुमारी है जो शूटिंग में खासी दिलचस्पी रखती है तथा शूटिंग के क्षेत्र में ही राज्यश्री कुमारी ने अर्जुन अवार्ड भी जीता है. इसके अलावा राज्यश्री कुमारी राजस्थान के कई चेरिटेबल ट्रस्ट की प्रमुख भी है तथा इनके नाम से कई समाजसेवी संस्थाएं भी चलती है.

जोधपुर का शाही परिवार देश के सबसे प्रसिद्ध और चर्चित शाही परिवारों में गिना जाता है, इस परिवार के नाम पर अथाह संपत्ति दर्ज है. फ़िलहाल में इस फैमिली के प्रमुख गजसिंह है, जिनके पास उम्मेद भवन के नाम से दुनिया का सबसे बड़ा निजी घर है, जिसमें 347 के करीब कमरे हैं.
