CHHATH PUJA | Sankey Tank, Bangalore (New Location Hebbal Lake)
Update 2018:
New Chhath Puja Location(Whitefield Hoodi):
This year, I could not go to my home for Chhath puja. Chhath puja is celebrated very nicely in Bangalore @ Sankey Tank. Sankey Tank is near to Mekhri circle. I think there were around 4000+ people present there. For morning Arghya, Left early at 4.00AM and reached at Sankey tank at 4:45 AM (From Whitefield, 25 KM). I felt very nice. The event was well organized by Siddhartha Samiti. There was Prasad distribution after the puja. Though, I(actually We, Me and my friends) would never want to stay at Bangalore on Chhath Puja, But by any chance, If we have to stay, we will go there every time.
