The Saybrook Point Inn & Spa in Old Saybrook, Connecticut celebrated the charm and character of winter with its second annual Fire & Ice Festival on Saturday, January 17th. Guests marveled at a fully sculpted Ice Bar as it warmed the soul with creative libations. It was cool contrast to Fresh Salt’s beloved Fire Bar. Other winter-themed festivities included a champagne tasting, spectacular diamond display, ice carving, oyster shucking, sushi creation, and horse-drawn carriage rides along the Point. Guests also enjoyed drink specials and tastings at the Marina Bar with special guest, Thimble Island Brewery, and savored delectable food samplings by Fresh Salt’s award-winning chefs. In addition, Sanno offered relaxing chair massages by the fire to help relive stiff winter muscles. We can’t wait for next year!
