In this episode, we’ll be visiting the Kumtag Desert in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Like all deserts, the temperature in the Kumtag Desert varies from freezing at night to baking during the day, but unlike other Chinese deserts that are mostly bare, experts have discovered two grand canyons with grotesque rocks and flowing rivers in the southwest of the desert.

HI-Lapse OAHU - Magical Hawaii 4K Time Lapse
Island of Oahu - Hawaii. The most visited and well known touristic destination. However to experience Hawaiian spirit you have to escape the crowds. Coming to Hawaii is definitely a special to me. I could stay 24 hours a day and absorb the scenery. It is never enough. Part of my trip I spend on North Shore to explore less known spots. To capture some beautiful sunrises and visit amazing, tranquil places. Love when it rains. There is always rainbow somewhere. On one day I catch six (6) in a row! My personal record:)
Capturing Supermoon was one of my highlights. Horizon was a little cloudy but moon appeared so large and bright, almost as daylight. This lifetime experience under the palm tree? I call it - spectacular.
There is always not enough time to see it all and capture it but my camera was ON all the time. I explored all sides of the island and number of beaches, waterfalls, beautiful hikes, overlooks, the others village from movie LOST. I feel like this place is so special to me, I wanted to dedicate my whole project to the People of Hawaii, their Land and their Culture as a THANK YOU.
It has been amazing journey from first day on the island to final touch in my project. Of course there is a lot of scenes from South Shore Honolulu - couldn't miss that. Sunsets on Waikiki are one of the best known attractions and visiting Pearl Harbor is a must for everyone. Even the rainbows in the city are magical.
This project took longer then I thought but it was fun to make. I captured over 60K stills in 100 + time lapses. Used Canon 5D MK III with Promote Control, Syrp Genie Mini, Manfrotto tripod. Pictures processed in LR Time Lapse, Lightroom 5 and edited in Sony Movie Studio 13.

Rottingdean Windmill filmed by the DJI Mavic Pro
Flight notes:
As the windmill is within the Beacon Hill Nature Reserve, the Mavic Pro was quickly flown up to a height of 50m so as to cause minimum noise disruption to wildlife and people visiting the nature reserve and mill - from that height, the craft is pretty much silent. It was also flown at a time of year outside nesting and chick-rearing activity. Pre-flight checks on wildlife and constant attention to the area and sky during the 5 minute flight ensured that no birds were flying or animals were disturbed.
A spot of history:
This smock windmill was erected on Beacon Hill in 1802. Rottingdean Windmill ground corn for the village, and supplied flour to the local bakers.
In 1881 the mill mechanism failed and, over time, the windmill fell into disrepair. In 1922, the village parish meeting raised £400 (£22,000 in 2017 equivalent money) to pay for repairs.
When the Rottingdean Preservation Society was formed in 1960, full repairs and strengthening against the area's heavy winds commenced.
Although the mill has not ground corn for 100 years, to this day work continues on this Grade 2 listed landmark on Beacon Hill. The prevailing south-westerly winds on this exposed part of the South Downs means that the Mill needs constant attention and maintenance, and this continues to be carried out by the Rottingdean Preservation Society.

SUMMARY

China, officially the People's Republic of China (PRC), is a country in East Asia and the world's most populous country, with a population of around 1.404 billion. Covering approximately 9,600,000 square kilometers (3,700,000 sq mi), it is the third- or fourth-largest country by total area, depending on the source consulted. Governed by the Communist Party of China, the state exercises jurisdiction over 22 provinces, five autonomous regions, four direct-controlled municipalities (Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai, and Chongqing), and the special administrative regions of Hong Kong and Macau.
China emerged as one of the world's earliest civilizations, in the fertile basin of the Yellow River in the North China Plain. For millennia, China's political system was based on hereditary monarchies, or dynasties, beginning with the semi-legendary Xia dynasty in 21st century BCE. Since then, China has expanded, fractured, and re-unified numerous times. In the 3rd century BCE, the Qin unified core China and established the first Chinese empire. The succeeding Han dynasty, which ruled from 206 BC until 220 AD, saw some of the most advanced technology at that time, including papermaking and the compass, along with agricultural and medical improvements. The invention of gunpowder and movable type in the Tang dynasty (618–907) and Northern Song (960–1127) completed the Four Great Inventions. Tang culture spread widely in Asia, as the new maritime Silk Route brought traders to as far as Mesopotamia and Horn of Africa. Dynastic rule ended in 1912 with the Xinhai Revolution, when a republic replaced the Qing dynasty. The Chinese Civil War resulted in a division of territory in 1949, when the Communist Party of China established the People's Republic of China, a unitary one-party sovereign state on Mainland China, while the Kuomintang-led government retreated to the island of Taiwan. The political status of Taiwan remains disputed.
Since the introduction of economic reforms in 1978, China's economy has been one of the world's fastest-growing with annual growth rates consistently above 6 percent. As of 2016, it is the world's second-largest economy by nominal GDP and largest by purchasing power parity (PPP). China is also the world's largest exporter and second-largest importer of goods. China is a recognized nuclear weapons state and has the world's largest standing army and second-largest defense budget. The PRC is a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council as it replaced the ROC in 1971, as well as an active global partner of ASEAN Plus mechanism. China is also a leading member of numerous formal and informal multilateral organizations, including the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), WTO, APEC, BRICS, the BCIM, and the G20. China is a great power and a major regional power within Asia, and has been characterized as a potential superpower.
