JR姫路駅から徒歩で姫路城へ向かう(Head towards Himeji Castle on foot from JR Himeji Station)
姫路城への玄関口であるJR姫路駅は新幹線と在来線のターミナル駅になっています。
JR姫路駅の北口からは長い直線道路の先に、国宝でもあり世界遺産でもある姫路城がすぐに見えてきます。
姫路駅の北側は大規模なリニューアル工事により、非常に綺麗に再整備されました。
姫路駅を出てすぐに左側に見えてくるのが山陽電鉄の姫路駅と山陽百貨店が入った大きなビルになります。
幅の広い歩道をしばらく北に進むと、先日閉店した老舗の百貨店「ヤマトヤシキ」の建物が出てきます。
ヤマトヤシキの外壁にはいろんな季節の姫路城の写真が大きく貼られています。
さらに北へ進み、国道2号線を渡ると姫路城がより大きく見えてきます。
食べ物屋やおみやげ屋の横を進んでいくとようやく真っ白な姫路城が見えてきます。
姫路城は外壁の白さの美しさから別名「白鷺城」とも呼ばれており、数年前に完了した補修工事によってさらに美しさを増した伝統的な日本のお城となりました。
JR Himeji Station, the gateway to Himeji Castle, is the terminal station for Shinkansen and conventional lines.
From the north exit of JR Himeji Station, ahead of a long straight road, you will soon see Himeji Castle, which is also a national treasure and a world heritage site.
The north side of Himeji Station has been rebuilt very beautifully due to a large-scale renewal work.
Immediately after leaving Himeji Station, you will see on the left side a large building containing Sanyo Electric Railway's Himeji Station and Sanyo Department Store.
Going north for a while on the wide sidewalk, you will see the building of the long-established department store Yamato Yashiki, which was closed the other day.
A large picture of Himeji Castle of various seasons is pasted on the outer wall of Yamato Yashiki.
Go further north and cross National Route 2 to see Himeji Castle bigger.
As you go next to the food shop and the souvenir shop, you can finally see the white Himeji Castle.
Himeji Castle is also known as Hakuto Castle because of the beauty of the whiteness of the outer wall, and it has become a traditional Japanese castle that has been further enhanced by the repair work completed several years ago.

In this video for October 20, I depart Osaka for Tokyo on the Tokaido Shinkansen (after connecting from Tennoji station). After another quick bite inside the department store, I leave Osaka behind at a speed of up to 285 km/h (177 mph) in the modern bullet train. After taking a taxi from Tokyo station, I check into my hotel in Asakusabashi... just one stop away from Akihabara. After plunging into the electronics district for a sushi dinner at one of my go-to restaurants in the area, a problem with the trains forces me to walk back to my hotel.

This Ashiya River in Ashiya. t's a very beautiful and exclusive area. This is a river flowing to the ocean. This is accessible from the JR Ashiya Station. You will have to walk to the west I believe. When you exit the main entrance of the department store it's in turn left and keep straight. You will run into it.
