Paulista Avenue is the economic core of São Paulo. The city has the 11th largest GDP in the world, representing alone 10.7% of all Brazilian GDP and 36% of the production of goods and services in the state of São Paulo, being home to 63% of established multinationals in Brazil, and has been responsible for 28% of the national scientific production in 2005. With a GDP of US$477 billion, the São Paulo city alone would have ranked 26th globally compared with countries by 2017 estimates.The metropolis is also home to several of the tallest skyscrapers in Brazil, including the Mirante do Vale, Edifício Itália, Banespa, North Tower and many others. The city has cultural, economic and political influence both nationally and internationally. It is home to monuments, parks and museums such as the Latin American Memorial, the Ibirapuera Park, Museum of Ipiranga, São Paulo Museum of Art, and the Museum of the Portuguese Language. The city holds events like the São Paulo Jazz Festival, São Paulo Art Biennial, the Brazilian Grand Prix, São Paulo Fashion Week and the ATP Brasil Open. The São Paulo Gay Pride Parade rivals the New York City Pride March as the largest gay pride parade in the world. It is headquarters of the Brazilian television networks Band, Gazeta, and RecordTV. São Paulo is a cosmopolitan, melting pot city, home to the largest Arab, Italian, and Japanese diasporas, with examples including ethnic neighborhoods of Mercado, Bixiga, and Liberdade respectively. São Paulo is also home to the largest Jewish population in Brazil, with about 75,000 Jews. In 2016, inhabitants of the city were native to over 200 different countries. People from the city are known as paulistanos, while paulistas designates anyone from the state, including the paulistanos. The city's Latin motto, which it has shared with the battleship and the aircraft carrier named after it, is Non ducor, duco, which translates as I am not led, I lead. The city, which is also colloquially known as Sampa or Terra da Garoa , is known for its unreliable weather, the size of its helicopter fleet, its architecture, gastronomy, severe traffic congestion and skyscrapers. São Paulo was one of the host cities of the 1950 and the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Additionally, the city hosted the IV Pan American Games and the São Paulo Indy 300.

What an adventure! I hope you enjoy watching this vlog of our trip to São Miguel Island, Azores, Portugal! We get lost (both during driving and hiking), explore abandoned hotel, and swim in a hot springs ocean! On the way, we stop by Sao Nicolau Church in Sete Cidades.

All the interior footages of the abandoned hotel & church were filmed with Iphone 11 Pro with the DJ1 Gimbal OSMO Mobile 3. The film speed is increased to shorten the video length.

Torre dos clérigos ( cidade do Porto )

Obra barroca, da autoria de Nicolau Nasoni, construída na primeira metade do século XVIII. A Torre é um dos monumentos mais emblemáticos da cidade do Porto. A vista panorâmica sobre a cidade e o rio Douro, que se alcança do alto da Torre, vale bem o esforço de subir a escadaria com cerca de 240 degraus.

Baroque work by Nicolau Nasoni, built in the first half of the 18th century. The tower is one of the most emblematic monuments of the city of Porto. The panoramic view of the city and the Douro River, which reaches the top of the Tower, is well worth the effort to climb the staircase with about of 240 steps.

Vasto e grandioso, o património mais significativo inclui dois monumentos quinhentistas classificados como património mundial — a Torre de Belém (manuelina) e o mosteiro de Santa Maria de Belém, ou dos Jerónimos (no qual se destacam os claustros e o pórtico sul);
o castelo de São Jorge, com a muralha medieval (construído no século X e recuperado em 1938, residência régia de D. Dinis até D. Manuel I); a Sé (edificada no pátio da antiga mesquita, após a conquista aos mouros; escavações feitas, a partir de 1990, revelaram vestígios da presença fenícia, púnica, romana e islâmica); a capela da Senhora da Saúde (de onde saíu, em 20 de Abril de 1570, a primeira procissão); do século XIV, o convento do Carmo (em ruínas desde o terramoto de 1755); do século XVI, os conventos da Graça (com o túmulo de Afonso de Albuquerque) e da Madre de Deus (com pórtico e claustro manuelinos) e a Casa dos Bicos (construída por Afonso de Albuquerque, o filho do governador da Índia); do século XVII, o convento da Encarnação e o Palácio Fronteira (famoso pelos seus azulejos); do século XVIII, o aqueduto das Águas Livres (18 605 m), o arco da Rua Augusta, a basílica da Estrela, a igreja de Santa Engrácia (Panteão Nacional desde 1966), os palácios de Belém (residência oficial do Presidente da República) e das Necessidades (residência real de D. João V até D. Manuel II), o Teatro Nacional de São Carlos do século XIX, os palácios de São Bento (Parlamento e residência oficial do primeiro-ministro) e da Ajuda (nunca concluído) e o Teatro Nacional D. Maria II; do século XX, a Praça do Império, com o Padrão dos Descobrimentos.
Existem vestígios de um passado mais remoto: dos romanos, o teatro (colina do castelo), a via (que ligava a mesma colina ao Tejo) e as termas de Cassius (Rua de São Mamede); dos islamitas, a cerca velha.
A serra de Monsanto e o rio Tejo com a sua área ribeirinha, constituem os elementos mais significativos ao nível do património natural.
Lisboa terá sido fundada pelos fenícios (século VIII a.C.), a quem se deve também o topónimo de Olisipo. Existem vestígios de construções ibero-púnicas (século III a.C.). Floresceu com a ocupação romana, designada por Felicitas Julia.
