When the sun warms the ground, it will warm some features more than others (such as rock-faces or large buildings), and these set off thermals which rise through the air. Sometimes these may be a simple rising column of air; more often, they are blown sideways in the wind, and will break off from the source, with a new thermal forming later. Once a pilot finds a thermal, he or she begins to fly in a circle, trying to center the circle on the strongest part of the thermal (the core), where the air is rising the fastest. Most pilots use a vario-altimeter (vario), which indicates climb rate with beeps and/or a visual display, to help core-in on a thermal. Often there is strong sink surrounding thermals, and there is often also strong turbulence resulting in wing collapses as a pilot tries to enter a strong thermal. Good thermal flying is a skill which takes time to learn, but a good pilot can often core a thermal all the way to cloud base.

Trekking Sarangkot | Pokhara | Nepal（徒步萨朗科 ）
Sarangkot is a former Village Development Committee west of Pokhara in Kaski District Gandaki Zone. In 2015, it was annexed to Pokhara 26. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a total population of 5,060 with 1,010 individual households.[1]
The village is located on Sarangkot mountain at an altitude of 1600m and is renowned for its panoramic Himalayan views Dhaulagiri, Annapurna and Manaslu as well as down on the city of Pokhara and Phewa lake. In recent years, Sarangkot has become a hotspot for paragliding.

Paragliding requires pre booking. but it can be booked just a day before. Many agency offices can be found in pokhara city for booking. pickup drop everything will be handle by the agency. They will take u to Sarangkot, it takes 45 min from Pokhara lake side road to (Sarangkot) this is the place for paragliding and they will give u all the equipment u need and after finishing ur activity they will drop u to ur hotel or to their office in pokhara (i mean from where u booked)
charge- 10000 Nepali Rupee= ($90) or (7500 BDT) (this rate is fixed by their government)

Grab your popcorn - this one is a long vlog! I was debating whether to split this into two parts, but decided to just keep it as long. In this vlog, we basically began our road trip across the western part of Nepal! We were SO excited that this trip we were getting to travel to parts of Nepal that we had never been to. We explored the cutest little town of Bandipur, made it to Pokhara, saw the most incredible sunrise and went PARAGLIDING! (10/10 would recommend). Enjoy!
