It was a nice day so I left The O (Osaka) and took a trip to the countryside. Being the castle fanatic that I am, I went on a search for one, and I found a ruins that had a hall restored. It was a little far from the station, but they had bus service.

Ride from Nishinomiya to Sasayama
There were some icy areas on the mountains, so I took it easy on the descents. The descents going back were beautiful. Definitely going to do this ride again when it warms up. Also, it was my second real ride of the season, so I really cracked on the last few climbs.

Large Japanese supermarket Nishiyama in Sasayama Hyogo.
A big supermarket by Japanese standards with a large selection of produce. Not a bad store to pick up a bargain occaisonally. This chain of supermarkets is small with only a handfull of stores around certain area. As can be seen , there is hardly any foreign produce.

Ghosts, Yokai, the Japanese equivlent of Oujia boards, abandoned Japanese buildings, and Japanese haunted houses like the one at Fuji Q Highland it's the longest one in the world!
