Prost! Oktoberfest in Japan | Vlog Part 1
What is Oktoberfest? Traditionally held annually in Bavaria, Germany, this folk festival attracts attention from around the world due to its outfits, beer, and overall liveliness.
With two Germans in tow, we attended the Oktoberfest held in Fukuoka, Japan.
Also, while we were wandering around stores nearby, a Japanese television filming crew had us help them out by filming their products and interviewed us about our favorite parts of Hakata. In Japan, this is quite common because the cable tv culture is alive and well. Japanese also tend to be very curious about how foreigners perceive their country. [11/6/18 Edit: My friend let me know that he saw us on Japanese TV in the morning on NHK's Ohayou Nippon!]
Afterwards, we went to a Pokémon raid and a vegan bento shop.
