CBC Asks: Should Saskatoon build a downtown arena?
Sasktel Centre is starting to show its age. Consultants recommend the 30-year-old facility be replaced with a new joint-use downtown arena and convention centre. The cost? About $330 to $375 million.
So, should Saskatoon build a downtown arena?
On Tuesday, Oct. 23, CBC Asks will address the question. CBC Host Leisha Grebinski will interview Will Lofdahl, chief executive officer of SaskTel Centre about refurbishing or rebuilding the facility in downtown Saskatoon.
The event will also hear from diverse panel and those attending will also have an opportunity to share their views and ask questions.
