Our Director of Exhibits and Programming, John Snell, left the Science Centre after 15 years. He's a huge fan of The Office so we made him this lip dub as a goodbye gift.
We did one practice run and then recorded this final version on second try.

Listening is a more natural way of learning, when compared to reading. Written language only began at around 3200 BC, but spoken language has existed long ago.
Learning by listening is a great way to:
- increases imagination and understanding
- improves your listening skills
- improves your own spoken accent
- learn while on the move
- reduce eye strain
Now learn the vast amount of general knowledge available on Wikipedia through audio (audio article). You could even learn subconsciously by playing the audio while you are sleeping! If you are planning to listen a lot, you could try using a bone conduction headphone, or a standard speaker instead of an earphone.

How to Make a Monster Exhibit - Saskatchewan Science Centre
Monsters have arrived at the Saskatchewan Science Centre! The newest visiting exhibition— How to Make a Monster — opens to the public on July 13th at 10am. This highly engaging, interactive exhibition features the work of Academy Award winning animatronics expert John Cox of John Cox's Creature Workshop.
How to Make a Monster is an in-depth look at the art and science behind animatronic creatures and costumes in movies. Guests will learn about every aspect of the creation of a movie or television monster, from conceptualization on paper to construction, mould-making, and finishing including silicone skin, paint, and hair.
The exhibition features well known movie monsters from Hollywood hits such as Peter Pan, The Chronicles of Riddick: Pitch Black, and animatronics from Inspector Gadget 2, George of the Jungle 2, and more. How to Make a Monster has something for everyone: from friendly furry creatures to space aliens, dinosaurs, and mythical animals.
Many of the exhibits are interactive, allowing visitors to move the creatures just as the animatronic puppeteers did during filming. Visitors can also put their imagination to work and create their own monster in a variety of mediums.
This family-friendly exhibition has been shown around the world and has received high praise from all who attend. The showing in Regina is only the second Canadian location for the exhibit.
How to Make a Monster is included with general admission to the Saskatchewan Science Centre and will be open until October 20, 2013.
