Abandoned Castlebridge Colliery Scotland. Music version
Abandoned Castlebridge Colliery and Business Park, Clackmannanshire, Scotland. As urban explorers we set out to record our heritage before the vandals, thieves and bulldozers move in. We take nothing but photographs and film and we leave nothing but footprints. When this site is eventually demolished i hope this will act in a small way as a record of our lost industrial history.

Scotland In The Middle Ages
History: Middle Ages by Country
From the fifth century northern Britain was divided into a series of petty kingdoms. Of these the four most important to emerge were the Picts, the Gaels of Dál Riata, the Britons of Strathclyde and the Anglian kingdom of Bernicia. After the arrival of the Vikings in the late eighth century, Scandinavian rulers and colonies were established along parts of the coasts and in the islands.
