Sawgrass Mills is an outlet shopping mall operated by the Simon Property Group, in Sunrise, Florida, a city in Broward County. With 2,370,610 square feet (220,237 m2) of retail selling space, it is the eleventh largest mall in the United States, the largest single story outlet mall in the U.S., the largest shopping mall in Broward County, the second largest mall in Florida and the Miami metropolitan area after the Aventura Mall, and the third largest shopping mall in the southeastern United States. Sawgrass Mills: The Ultimate Outlet Mall in Florida?
Hello Hoppers! Sawgrass Mills is supposedly the second most visited tourist sight in Florida, after Walt Disney World! Can you believe that? Well, I had to see for myself what made this MEGA MALL so special.
The place is so big that I only got to see about a third of the whole thing. It is divided into the Main Mall, which has four Avenues to shop from; the Oasis, which in an outdoor component; and the Colonnade Outlets at Sawgrass, which is an area of upscale shopping. So, in total there are about 350 stores, ranging from outlets to retailers, to discount.
Sawgrass Mills Mall is located at 12801 W. Sunrise Blvd., Sunrise, Florida, in Broward County.

The Rain Forest Cafe in the Sawgrass Mills Mall is a huge attraction for folks visiting South Florida and surely fun for us to go by and enjoy on occasion as well. While the kids seem to get a bit nervous with the animal animations they overall seem to enjoy it especially the tigers and the elephants!
