Places to see in ( Breckenridge - USA )
Breckenridge is a Colorado town at the base of the Rocky Mountains’ Tenmile Range. It's known for its ski resort, year-round alpine activities and Gold Rush history. The Victorian core of this former mining town is preserved as the Breckenridge National Historic District, running primarily along Main Street, with colorfully painted buildings from the 1880s and '90s housing shops, galleries and restaurants.
Set at the foot of the marvelous Tenmile Range, Breck is a surviving mining town with a vibrant historic district. The down-to-earth vibe is a refreshing change from Colorado's glitzier resorts, and the family-friendly ski runs and gold-nugget history make it Summit County's most atmospheric destination. Regardless of whether it’s snow or shine, the BreckConnect Gondola up to the base of Peak 8 is where the fun begins.
The vast, hulking mountains here rise and fall, merging seamlessly into one another to present a perfect alpine backdrop. Laced with ski runs and hiking trails and stitched together with pine groves, they blaze gold in the morning, glow pink at dusk and fade into a deep shadowy blue as the sky pales then darkens, revealing endless stars best viewed from a frothing hot tub next to the roaring Blue River.

Spartan Breckenridge Beast
August 27, 2016
Spartan brought their bada$$ obstacles and mixed it with the Rocky Mountains for the Breckenridge Beast.
A few key things I would like to point out: the 'summit carry' (as what I believe everyone called it) was the sandbag carry & it really took everything endurance wise from majority of the people who came to get their beast medal. I did learn from my mistakes at this race (only failed the spear man & monkey bars), so hopefully in the future I wont have an issue with them anymore. Also I accidently forgot to record the herc hoist & z-wall due to how exhausted I was.
Because of the gorgeous view, I felt that the ladies wouldve liked me to capture some of that. I hope that people will enjoy this video & also I hope that it will help you to be able to conquer any of the obstacles that you might have issues with.
Colorado Cycling Keystone to Dillon Bike Path
Colorado Cycling Keystone to Dillon Bike Path -
This is one of my favorite stretches of the Summit County Rec Path.
This paved bike and hike path stretches from Breckenridge to Keystone, Copper Mountain, Frisco, Dillon, and Vail. I'm still new to exploring it and have not seen all of the paths yet.
One of the many great things about Summit County, and specifically Breckenridge is that the public transit and bike paths are so wonderful that a car is absolutely unnecessary here.
I have been injured and unable to get too adventurous since February, 2015. I hope to start on some single-track in the next month or two. First I have to focus on just learning to walk again though.
There are plenty of hardcore bicycling activities in Summit County, from downhill mountain biking that is supported by ski lifts and gondolas to skate parks and dirt jump tracks.
Make sure to visit our youtube channel and website often for more amazing mountain videos!

Ten Mile Rec Path
Every year cyclists ring in the start of a new biking season with the opening of Vail Pass recpath. Connecting Frisco to Vail, this portion of trail offers something for everyone. Some area bike shops offer shuttles to the summit of Vail Pass for a strictly downhill ride. Those opting for a shorter loop can go from Frisco to Copper Mountain Resort and back — roughly 6 miles each way — or ride the Summit Stage to Copper and take the trail from there. Those seeking a real High Country challenge can opt for the 1,500-foot vertical gain from Frisco to the top of Vail Pass — approximately 14 miles— or even go all the way to Vail. Mountain Biking Blue Sky | Fort Collins, CO
Blue Sky is a great little trail near the Horsetooth Reservoir west of Fort Collins, CO. It's a fairly easy and fast trail that still offers a good workout and great views of the foothills. This trail continues on, connecting to Indian Summer for a 10.7 mile out and back, or Devil's Backbone for a bone jarring addition. If you can, ride this trail during a weekday as this is a popular trail for hikers and runners during weekends (as with most trail systems). You'll fork out $6 to park at the Blue Sky Trailhead Parking if you don't have a season pass, but sometimes you'll get lucky and a fellow rider will hand you their day pass as they leave. Keep the rubber side down!

Explore Denver's Local Flavor in Cherry Creek North
The neighborhood you see today had its roots in the 1870s as the budding town of Harmon. There were greenhouses, residences, and eventually a business district. Over the next 100 years, it grew, taking up land adjacent to the creek-- and became known as Cherry Creek.
Today, this neighborhood has a 16-block business district, in which most of the restaurants, art galleries, salons, and boutiques are locally owned. The neighborhood shines with beautiful storefronts, playful water features, and a lively atmosphere.
