Lake District Country Walk Buttermere to Red Pike via Scale Force round
Our video is a guided walk in the Lake District. From Buttermere we walk towards Crummock Water then uphill to Scale Force and Red Pike. At the top of Red Pike we are encircled by mist from the cloud. We return back to Buttermere via the steep side of Red Pike and Bleaberry Tarn. This is a beautiful but hard walk on mostly well maintained paths and track. The ascent following Scale Beck is steep with a little climbing over boulders and up to Red Pike is quite stiff. The first part of the descent down from Red Pike is very steep on loose crumbling red stone. Elevation: Approx lowest point 100.6m (330ft) approx highest point 751.5m (2465ft). Approx 5.5 miles allow 3 to 4 hours using OS Explorer Map OL4, The English Lakes North-western area. Start point: Free car parking area at the side of the road just on the hill above the village.

Scale Force Falls, Lake District
I spent a couple of hours at the amazingly beautiful location of Scale Force Falls near Crummock Water in the gorgeous Lake District this morning.
This is a fantastic place to visit with a camera as it is pretty remote and therefore devoid of photographer most of the time. The main 120ft waterfall that nestles deep in the luminous green mossy covered rock gorge pounds downwards into two smaller falls. It is an inspiring place to visit and spend some time.
Watch the video until the end when I share my final edited image from the morning. I hope you enjoy the quick video and please leave a comment if you wish.

Winter Camp Above Buttermere
Met up with Paul Messner for this one where we decided to do something different to wild camping. Packed a few extras and off we went however the plan changed and with the dark coming in we navigated to the next location which couldnt have been better. Hope you enjoy this as much as we did.
