Scenic Caves Nature Adventures - The Blue Mountains (Collingwood), Canada (2018): A walk to the suspension bridge and caves around the park.
Blue Mountain Caving + Suspension Bridge (Scenic Caves)
My girlfriend and I visited the scenic caves in Blue Mountain. The suspension bridge is 420' long and it is over 300 meters above the bay. The caves were used by aboriginals; the rock that I climb on is called the balance rock. It was used by aboriginals to view the bay

The Scenic Caves -- located on the Niagara Escarpment, close to Blue Mountain and the shores of southern Georgian Bay -- have been there for years -- millions of years, actually.
The caverns were formed by ice movement of the Glacial Ages. They were used as a fortress in the 1660s by the Petun tribe, and Samuel de Champlain noted their existence in the 17th century.

SCENIC CAVES - NATURE ADVENTURES TRAIL
In this video you will see the Scenic Caves Trail and everything it has to offer!
This trail is made up of many statues and has many detours to visit even more location such as the Scenic Caves Suspension Bridge, restaurants and more.
Discover one of Canada’s great natural wonders and then enjoy summer and winter sports at this family-friendly adventure center.
Experience nature, history and adventure amid the stunning setting of Collingwood Scenic Caves. Explore caves that are hundreds of millions of years old, cross one of Ontario’s longest footbridges, hike to magnificent viewpoints and ski along miles of trails.
Go on a self-guided tour of the ancient cave complex and rock formations that lie partly underground. Step into the ice cave, where temperatures are so low that it remains icy for much of the year, including summer. Step inside the Bear Cave where it is thought that black bears used to sleep during the winter. Squeeze through an opening called the Fat Man’s Misery that is only 15 inches (36 centimeters) at its narrowest point.
The caves and surrounding area were once home to the Petun First Nations people. Visit the site of an ancient village to see the Indian Council Chamber, an area formed by cliff rocks where important meetings were held. Hike along trails to the tops of cliffs for unrivalled views of the countryside and Lake Huron. Walk across the 420-feet (126-meter) long suspension footbridge that travels above the treetops of the Niagara Escarpment.

Scenic Caves Nature Adventures - Suspension Bridge in Winter
The only way to access Southern Ontario’s longest suspension footbridge in winter is by snowshoe, making this a unique and adventurous experience. For 420 feet, you’re suspended high above the snowy forest floor with expansive views surrounding you 360 degrees. On a clear day, you can see 10,000 square kilometres - to the far side of Georgian Bay and beyond!
The subtle sway of the bridge adds an element of excitement to this attraction. Fear not, the bridge is designed to be flexible and bear the weight of snow, ice and many people. Because of its wireframe design, the suspension bridge is suitable for all ages and heights, with a clear view for everyone.
