Places to see in ( Sevierville - USA )
Sevierville is a city in east Tennessee. To the south, Great Smoky Mountains National Park has forest trails and waterfalls. A statue of country singer Dolly Parton, a Sevierville native, is downtown by the 1896 beaux arts–style courthouse. The Tennessee Museum of Aviation has vintage aircraft, including 2 rare P-47 Thunderbolts. To the east, the Forbidden Caverns are vast underground caves with calcite formations.
In the town's eastern section, the Little Pigeon River is formed by the confluence of its East Fork and Middle Fork, both of which flow down from their sources high in the Great Smoky Mountains. Five miles (8 km) downstream to the west, the Little Pigeon absorbs its West Fork before turning north and flowing for another five miles (8 km) to its mouth along the French Broad River. Sevierville is centered on the stretch of land between these two junctions of the East and Middle Fork and the West Fork, known traditionally as Forks-of-the-Pigeon or Forks-of-the-River.
Situated in an area where the Foothills of the Great Smokies give way to the Tennessee Valley, Sevierville has long acted as a nexus between Knoxville to the north and the Appalachian towns in the mountains to the south. Great Smoky Mountains National Park is located approximately ten miles south of Sevierville.
Like other towns situated along the Parkway in Sevier County, Sevierville has reaped the benefits of the burgeoning tourism industry brought on by the development of Great Smoky Mountains National Park. As of 2004, nearly 50 percent of businesses based in Sevierville were linked to tourism. For example, there are more than 2,000 hotel and motel rooms in the city that generate more than $500,000 in hotel-motel tax revenues each year.

Kauai Vacation Helpers Helicopter Tours. Let us help you find the perfect adventure for you!
Helicopter Tours
Going on a helicopter tour early in your stay is an excellent way to orient yourself to the amazing diversity of Kauai from the rainy north shore to sunny Poipu and beyond to the arid West Side. Kauai is one of the most scenic islands in the world, yet a large portion of the island is inaccessible by car due to the rugged terrain. That is why the true hidden beauty of Kauai can only be revealed from the air.
Someone once said, Going to Kauai and not going on a helicopter tour would be like going to the Sistine Chapel and not looking up.
Your breathtakingly unforgettable one-hour helicopter adventure will take you to Mount Waialeale known as the wettest spot on earth where you'll see waterfalls falling almost 3,000 feet. You'll be amazed how such a small island can behold so much beauty. Most of the mountain rain drains into the nearby Alakai Swamp, home to several rare species of plants and birds.
Winding through the many twists and turns of Waimea Canyon, the Grand Canyon of the South Pacific, is truly a spectacular sight. And you'll recognize Wailua Falls, also known as Fantasy Island Waterfalls, because of their cameo appearance weekly in the TV series of the same name.
Get the thrill of being up close to Moanawaiopuna waterfall (filmed in Jurassic Park), soar along the lush valleys of the Na Pali Coast, home of incredible sea cliffs which rise thousands of feet from the sea floor and discover hundreds of other tropical waterfalls.
There are numerous helicopter companies and choosing one can get very confusing, because they're not all the same. We can help because we've tried them all! Our evaluation on these companies is based on some pretty strict criteria, like safety, customer service, price, equipment, FAA certification and the Wow Factor.
We also take into account your interests. Are you a serious photographer or do you want someone else to do that for you? These and other subtleties are considered when we choose a helicopter company for you. Most of our guests that fly prefer the luxurious Euro copter Astar designed specifically for touring, with air conditioning, panoramic windows and Bose noise canceling headsets. With a knowledgeable and experienced pilot as your guide, this aircraft can't be beat! Small Town Charm - Elizabethton TN
Music:
Bridge
Composed By Ender Güney
Located in the Extreme northeastern part of Tennessee, The town of Elizabethton was founded in 1799 and is noted for several historical events. It is the site of the first independent American government known as the Watauga Association. It is also the historical site of the Transylvania Purchase. The Overmountain Men crossed the Watauga river and raised a settlement at Sycamore Shoals, now a state Historic site within the town. The East Tennessee and Western North Carolina Railroad, better known as the Tweetsie railroad, once steamed through town, and the railway has now been converted into a hiking and biking trail drawing many visitors. While most manufacturing has long moved away from the town, Elizabethton is currently undergoing a revitalization process and many new businesses (mostly retail and restaurant) have moved in.
