Toasty Melbourne Summer rides - Gardiner Creek Trail full take - 18km / 25 kph
My first take on this trail followed it half way through and then continued on the Scotchmans Creek trail. This time I have captured the trail from start to finish (Burnley to Box Hill South). This is a short but nevertheless beautiful trail as it offers many bends, a few ascents and descends and good views of Melbourne's eastern suburbs.

This is the first video of the Melbourne bikepaths I'm riding with the GoPro Hero3 Silver camera. I've noticed that some of the entrances to the bikepath network dont allow access to either trikes or wheelchairs and I'm hoping to draw attention to this problem.
Hume BUG Jells Park Ride
On Sunday 6th January 2013, 6 cyclists from Hume BUG rode from the Moonee Ponds Creek Trail junction with the Metropolitan Ring Road Path to the Main Yarra Trail, Gardiners Creek Trail, and Scotchmans Creek Trail, to Jells Park. Five cyclsits returned on alternative Scotchmans Creek Trail routes to Gardiners Creek Trail, Anniversary Trail to the Capital City Trail and finished at Kensington Station.
This is an unedited compilation of videos of the ride.

Glen Waverley Bike Crash
The eye-witness that does not lie
Helmet cams are proving invaluable in the battle for bike riders to assert their rights and win justice on Australia's roads.
For too long drivers have been able to dodge their responsibility for crashes with bikes because the bike rider lacked witnesses to the incident.
No longer. As this shocking helmet cam video by rider Scott Kerrison (travelling on Springvale Road in the Melbourne suburb of Glen Waverley) clearly shows, there can be no argument about who is responsible for a crash when the camera is rolling along with the bike.

25 km of pleasant ride along our favorite trail. Nice weather, plenty of sun, not hot, not cold or rainy. What can be better?
First experience with GoPro4.
Melbourne Bike Trail (Bayside Coastal Trail) - 46km / Vlog
Apparently it just wasn't our day to bike ride. One flat tyre and one popped tyre later, we finally started our bike trail starting from Beaumaris to Port Melbourne.

First 10 days in Melbourne and this is what we did
We are still new in Melbourne and there're so many things to do and explore. Firstly, we need to get Monkey microchipped as advised by the Monash City Council. But it turns out the vet said Monkey don't need another chipped since he had one done in Malaysia. What needed though is for us to register his chip number with the vet's signature.
Next, we went to satisfy our craving for Malaysian food in Danny's Kopitiam along Blackburn Road. Yummy! Highly recommended due to its authenticity
What's our favourite past time? Running of course. We spent several days exploring nearby places for runs and we did find some. Check out Scotchman's Creek trail and Jells Park. These are nearest to where we stay at Mount Waverly
