Jane - Healed of a Slipped Disc
I was raised in the Anglican church. I gave my heart to the Lord twice – once at a Billy Graham Crusade, and again at a Bible class camp. I traveled overseas and ended up working in Perth with a lady who had been healed of cancer of the cervix. I was amazed by the fact that God did something for someone. I was told about the Holy Spirit and the need to have it, and that God would give me a special language to speak to him in when I received it. This was new to me. I remember the dress Mum made me when I was confirmed in the Anglican Church, but nothing miraculous happened then. I went to their church to check it all out. I was baptized by full immersion, and true to His word, God filled me with the Holy Spirit and I spoke in tongues. Straight away, God gave me a peace and assurance that He was real, and He was looking after me.
I have since been healed of arthritis in my shoulder and hip, and a cataract in my right eye. My husband and I have been provided for financially when we were down to our last dollars, and also protected in a potential accident where the wheel came off the car. The Lord has healed a child of ADHD after I had prayer for him. After prayer my neighbour was healed of problems preventing her from having another child. She went on to have twins. I have seen the Lord bless our marriage and children, and I praise Him for giving me a future with Him.

read Bill Desowitz's article on Indie Wire about the film here:
William Kurelek's The Maze is a documentary about the life of celebrated Canadian artist William Kurelek, dramatically told through his paintings and his on camera revelations. The film takes an intimate look into the life of one of the 20th century's most fascinating artists and his struggles with attempted suicide and a self professed spiritual crisis. Kurelek describes The Maze as a painting of the inside of [his] skull which [he] painted while in England as a patient in Maudsley and Netherne psychiatric hospitals. Kurelek's surrealistic painting , featured in the film, depicts a man's unraveled head lying in a wheat field. A curled up laboratory rat, representing his spirit, is trapped inside a maze of unhappy thoughts and memories.

Not everyone Down Under has the same Australian pronunciation.
Australia has many different dialects or accents, but in this episode we'll focus on the three primary types of Aussie accent that you're likely to encounter on your trip Down Under.
The General Australian Accent is used by people including actors Eric Bana and Hugh Jackman, as well as Olympic swimmer Ian Thorpe.
The Cultivated Australian Accent is used by people including actors Cate Blanchett and Geoffrey Rush, as well as ex-Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Fraser.
The Broad Australian Accent is used by people including ex-Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard, actor Paul Hogan, and conservationist Steve Irwin.
This video won't cover every kind of Australian dialect or Australian accent. There're many others including the wog accent, bogan accent, and indigenous accent, but we'll cover these in a future episode!
Which of these Australian accents do you find the nicest to listen to, and which do you find the hardest to understand?
