The Scottish Beaver Trial's field team captured the beaver pair on Lochan Beag enjoying an evening snack, at the Scottish Beaver Trial site in Argyll.
The Scottish Beaver Trial is a partnership project between the Scottish Wildlife Trust, the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland and host partner Forestry Commission Scotland. The project marks the first ever formal reintroduction of a native mammal species in the UK.

The Scottish Beaver Trial can announce that three young beavers, born earlier in the summer, have just been spotted in Argyll's Knapdale Forest. Here they are, seen for the first time outside their lodge.
