Diving New Zealand | Goat Island
Another awesome sunday dive, Goat Island marine reserve had 10m+ visibility and fish galore. Raenee hadn't been diving in about 6 months so she was getting back into the swing of things while I was logging more hours on the Prism2. Like, Share and Subscribe f you want to see more vids team :-) Let me know in the comments what you want to see next!!!!
Goat Island is probably one of the best shore diving locations around Auckland with an abundance of fish due to its no take policy. Conditions were perfect with minimal wind and as always Goat Island delivers, its insane how close the marine life gets to you when you don't make noise and scare them off with the bubbles :-)

Snorkelling GOAT ISLAND, New Zealand
Jan 29, 2017.
The crew from work (Federico - Italy, Blake - NZ, Cheyenne - Germany) on a day trip 2 hours north of Auckland to Goat Island Marine Reserve. It's a cove between the mainland and the island that you can snorkel. We spotted a few Snappers, Red Moki, Blue Moki, and a two foot Manta Ray (not pictured because of video quality). What a great field trip!

Great low stress diving with very actractive sea life
Goat Island Marine reserve, New Zealand
A great example of how effective marine reserves are. If you haven't been here, take the time to check it out as the sea life is simply outstanding. This is what I managed to see in the 1.5hrs that I was there, but Im sure there is still a lot more to be seen.

Snorkel Goat Island, North Auckland, New Zealand
goatislanddive.co.nz
Goat Island is New Zealand's first Marine Reserve. For more than 30 years marine life has been fully protected from any form of fishing. For marine lovers, this experience is one you will never forget.
Goat Island is located only 100 metres from the safe beach access in the Marine Reserve. It is famous for it's amazing snorkeling and diving providing safe and shallow conditions for all the family to explore. With the channel only 2 metres deep and west of the island 3-8 metres deep, this protected environment remains calm and an easy place to snorkel. You can snorkel straight off the beach in the Marine Reserve all year round, making it a convenient way to see an abundance of marine life. Drop into Goat Island Dive & Snorkel and pick up your hire gear.

[GoPro] Snorkelling Goat Island, NZ: Up Close with Dolphins
Day spent diving on the East Coast of New Zealand near Leigh, NZ. Goat Island Marine reserve, worth a visit! - Snapper, Leather Jacket and luckily for us a pod of dolphins! Heaps of Kahawai, Eagle Ray and other species too which we didn't snap on camera.
Diving New Zealand | Mathesons Bay
Another epic day out shore diving, Mathesons Bay gave everyone great conditions on the weekend with lots of Nudis, Eagle Rays and cool marine life to see. I managed to tag along with a few divers for some fun late afternoon and then a night dive too. Another 2.5 hours of the Prism2 and the water is getting warmer... I think :-) Let me know what you think of the video, lots of macro shots of Nudis and some slower music than normal. I enjoyed making it, I hope you enjoy watching it. #Diving #NewZealand #MathesonsBay
