????Scuba Diving with Eagle Rays, Sharks & Sea Turtles in the Galapagos ????????Santa Cruz Island Ecuador
Galapagos is known for it's extraordinarily rich wildlife, but to see it, you've gotta get in the water!
For our first dive of the season, we couldn't believe how many animals we could find, including: Galapagos sharks, White-tipped reef sharks, Spotted Eagle Rays, Sea Turtles, Eels, Groupers, and of course the dreaded Hammer-Head sharks!
The morning starts off with a short drive from Puerto Ayora to the North-end of Santa Cruz Island. The Earth Unraveled gang is amused by a pack of pelicans helping themselves to some freshly caught fish for breakfast at the marina while we load up the boats, and head on out to the North Seymour dive site.

Scuba diving the Shipwreck site in San Cristóbal Galapagos
Galápagos Marine Reserve protects some very incredible diving sites. Lucas Matson takes my camera with him on an underwater adventure. At the time of recording i didnt have my scuba license yet so I had to stay above or at the surface but he put a tank on and submerged a few times. See the underwater world first-hand in this video featuring mainly strange and colorful fish, a decent-sized ray, and a wierd crustacean. The dives are done in two parts... this was deeper portion at San Cristóbal’s shipwreck site (after the warmup session near Punta Corola Beach shown in a different video).

Ep. 14 The Galápagos-Part 2: Isla Santa Cruz - February 2016
We didn't expect to adore the Galápagos' most touristy island, but we did! We explored the town of Puerto Ayora, walked some of the most incredible stretches of beach we've ever seen, marveled at the marine iguanas, trekked through a lava tunnel, saw giant tortoises in action (literally and figuratively) in the wild, and scuba'd with sea lions and sharks. It was a wonderful stop in our journey, made all the more memorable because we still had Lori aboard! We hope you enjoy this taste of Isla Santa Cruz!

Isla Pinzon Galapagos - Like Snorkeling Thru an Aquarium!
Isla Pinzon (Pinzon Island) is an island in Galapagos National Park Ecuador, that is popular for snorkeling. You can now (2017) visit Isla Pinzon Galapagos as part of a snorkeling day tour from Puerto Ayora, whereas Isla Pinzon was previously a snorkeling site only for liveaboards. During our snorkeling day trip to Isla Pinzon in January 2017, we found turtles, sharks, many varieties of fish, and playful sea lions!
