Diving at Perhentian Island in Malaysia.The Perhentians offer some great diving and excellent snorkeling. In addition to coral and fish, the Perhentians are home to sea turtles and many species of shark.
Diving Pulau Perhentian, Malaysia
We've decided to take a quick side trip to Pulau Perhentian to exercise our diving muscles before we head out to Borneo. We only intended to do one dive to test out Tony's newly repaired tooth before we shell out tons of cash to dive world-famous (and expensive) Sipadan. But due to a lack of self-control, one dive turned into three.
We dove Sugar Wreck, T3 and Temple of the Sea. Exciting discoveries included the biggest barracuda we've ever seen, our first bamboo sharks and blacktip sharks, candelabra-like coral, and some of the most stunningly psychedelic anemones. All three dives were enjoyable, but only Temple of the Sea ranks as a must-see site. (If you dive Temple of the Sea, keep an eye out for that mega-barracuda!)

Diving in Perhentian Island, Malaysia
today we are doing our first dive in perhentian island malaysia.
Perhentian island has so much marine life to see here including turtles stingrays sharks octopus and more, so we had to do a few dives to experience it for yourself.
We payed around 90 ringit per dive which is around 17 pounds per dive which is a pretty cheap price. The dive locations are pretty empty with only 1 or 2 groups of divers at a dive site at the same time.
Perhentian island is a good place to practice diving because of how quiet it is and you can get a lot more of a personal experience from your dive master to help you feel comfortable

PERHENTIAN ISLAND PARADISE IN MALAYSIA! Diving, Snorkelling, Beaches | Perhentian Island Vlog
I found paradise on Perhentian Kecil aka the small Perhentian Island in Malaysia!
In 5 days I enjoyed island life at a slow place but I also went diving as the diving is really great in the Perhentian islands and one of the most popular things to do because it’s the cheapest place to dive in South East Asia.
I went on a 3 hour snorkelling trip where I saw lots of fish, turtles and sharks on the Perhentian islands.
I visited the viewpoint on Perhentian Kecil and walked to some nearby beaches.
I would recommend all of this to you if you are looking for the best things to do on Malaysia’s Perhentian islands!

Thank you for watching and enjoyed my dive video shot in Perhentian Islands recently 13-16 June 2017. I had been 18 years not been to Perhentian Islands for diving, so this is a video I shoot and edited for me and my friends to keep this wonderful moment to dive together. I also would like to thanks Perhentian Arwana Dive Center dive crew for the wonderful dive and meals services. Also thanks for the drone footage used in this video where I got it from the YouTubers and I credited all of them at the end of this video and last but not least thanks to my old friend and dive buddy Mike Chiew. Without all your help this video will not be successful and perfect.
The majority shot of this video is shot at Sugar Wreck dive site. Sugar Wreck is a sunken freighter located at the west of Pulau Perhentian Kecil and resting 18m below the surface. It sank in 2000 during the monsoon period. As the name suggests, it was previously used for transporting sugar and currently, it is the house for many marine life.
This video is specially make for all divers who love diving and explore the underwater world. For people who wish to become a diver, hope this video will inspire you to take up diving courses to open your eyes and door to the beauty of the underwater world.
