Snorkeling the reef in Fiji
Lucky enough to be holidaying in one of the world's nicest places, Fiji. While here, couldn't help but get out for a snorkel on the reef to see some reef life in the wild.
Scuba Dives at Rakiraki, Fii
Two dives at places called Instant Replay and Magic Mountain that we went on with the Volivoli Resort. The diving here was great. Better than the my inexpensive Yi Lite camera would have you think. Volivoli Resort was terrific! Highly recommended.

Dive 14 – Donna Ella, Kadavu Island - Fiji
Anyone, who likes caves and holes to get into at 100 ft or more (one of my favorites), Donna Ella is a paradise. Soooo many swim throughs and small caves to enjoy with plenty of life on site.

Dolphin watching & Snorkeling in Fiji Islands at Volivoli Beach Resort in Rakiraki a close encounter
Dolphin watching in Fiji at Volivoli Beach Resort in Rakiraki. Our guides say this these were Spinner Dolphins. There were close to 100 dolphins and they were so curious and came right up to us. This is definitely a worthwhile adventure. We contacted Nick Darling and he was most helpful in organizing this. We expected to see a few dolphins, but I estimate there were perhaps 100 dolphins. This is a great thing to do when in Rakiraki.
Volivoli Beach Resort does a lot of scuba diving, fishing, spa etc. When we return to Rakiraki, we will definately go there again.
Staff told us that there have been times that they have seen Whales also.

Snorkelling Rainbow Reef Fiji July 2017
A small sample of what's to see snorkelling the Rainbow Reef, which is in the Somosomo Strait between the second and third largest Fijian Islands of Vanua Levu and Taveuni. Famous for its soft corals and with crystal clear water, this was a great place to snorkel, although the depth of the corals makes it best for scuba diving. Cyclone Winston caused some damage to the reef, more evident in some places than others.
Spot the reef shark cruising over cabbage patch coral at 3:23, and a Trumpet Fish at 5:00.
Filmed with GoPro Hero Silver and edited in Camtasia. Slowed to 70% of original speed.
