Sabang Diving Beach Puerto Galera Philippines Oriental Mindoro
First visit to Sabang Beach at Puerto Galera, it is about a 30 minute ride from White Beach and is known for the floating bikini bar, scuba diving and dive resorts... And something else not quite as reputable. This video features more information about White beach, food shopping, a cool American themed restaurant Liberty's cafe, some aerial drone video, and how to get from White beach to the quieter Tamaraw, Aninuan and Talipanan beaches.

Fun Dive in Puerto Galera Philippines. Puerto Galera has good drift diving sites. Verde Island is another island an hour from Puerto Galera by boat which you should not miss.
The video is not color corrected.
Dive Sites in Video:
1: Alma Jane Wreck (22-30 Meters) - 32 Meter Cargo Ship made in Japan in 1966. It was deliberately sunk in March 2003. It is ideal for Deep, Nitrox and Wreck Dive. The upper deck of the ship starts at 22 mts.
2: Hole in the Wall (~20 Meters): Hole carved due to water erosion. The dive site has strong currents most of the times. We were supposed to go Canyons from Hole in wall but because of strong current we had to change course :(
3: Coral Cove (~26m): At the sandy bottom you can find sea horses. There is also small wreck with lots of fishes.

This coastal town is well known among tourists for its numerous pocket beaches and many snorkeling and Scuba diving spots. The area was designated a Man and Biosphere Reserve of UNESCO in 1973 and has some of the most diverse coral reef diving in Asia. The marine environment has benefited in recent years from the influx of tourist dollars. This has seen a huge reduction in the number of fishermen in the area, as they gain higher revenue from tourists.
Puerto Galera is a listed by the Club of the Most Beautiful Bays of the World, and is the only bay in the Philippines to be listed there.
Among the famous beaches in Puerto Galera are Sabang Beach and White Beach, which have an active nightlife with numerous bars and restaurants. Both beaches also have an array of first-class and economy-class accommodations.
Sabang beach is the main destination for foreign tourists, while White Beach remains popular with local travelers.Big La Laguna Beach and Small La Laguna Beach are considered part of Sabang with resorts lining the beaches. Big La Laguna Beach is popular for local swimmers and snorkelers. Since 2001 White beach has seen uncontrolled development. New restaurants and places to stay are rapidly encroaching on the beach itself and little remains of the once charming beach. Puerto Galera town is a pleasant but sleepy Philippine town with few attractions. It has a large central catholic church and a Pier area, with a selection of bistros and cafes.
Puerto Galera Scuba diving at Ernies point with Asia Divers Mindoro Philippines
Ernie's Point
Ernies point owes its name to Ernies cave, a small cavern in 21 meters where once lived Ernie the grouper. Ernie moved out many years ago but the dive site kept its name. The tiny cave is at the bottom of a large rocky outcrop, adorned with sea fans and often visited by smaller groupers. Look for tube shaped holes around the mouth of the cave, large mantis shrimps often build their nests here. Deeper, at 27 meters, lies another small cave with abundant marine life around it. None of the caves are large enough to penetrate. Schools of trevally are common here, as are schools of mackerel. Be ware that during big tidal changes, strong cross currents (eddys) often happen here, and you might be stuck in a very small area between conflicting currents.
Depth: 5-27m

So you wanna know where to stay in Puerto Galera.
There are three basic places to stay where you'll find resorts in Puerto Galera.
Puerto Galera is a province.
First, there's Sabang Beach, which is 40 dive shops, 5 girly bars, and 24 hours of fun fun fun.
Another is White Beach which is a beautiful white sandy beach. Great place to be.
Here are a few things you can do if you decide to stop by White Beach:
==
1. Swimming/Snorkeling
White Beach is... a beach! Of course, you can go swimming in the beautiful clear water. You can also rent a snorkel and mask for cheap and explore beneath the surface.
2. See the White Beach dancers at night
You probably didn't travel to the Philippines for the ladyboys. At white beach, however, you can see some fun dance 'comedy shows' that are fun for everyone.
Sometimes the story will be about two women fighting over a man. Other times the dance will purposefully be more 'sexy' and less comedy.
3. Fire Dancers
When the sun sets on White Beach the fire dancers step onto the sand. The shows are great, and you'll even be able to take a picture with the dancers for a small tip.
This is one of the highlights of White Beach, and you won't want to miss it. Don't leave just because the sun is setting!
==
The third place is where we are, Badladz, which is located in Puerto Galera, the Port of Galleons, and this is basically in the center of town but still on the water. You've got all the services, you've got all the nightlife and you've got access to both those other places where you can party all night or you can go to the white sand beach. That's why we choose to be here.
Badladz Resorts is the best place to stay when visiting Puerto Galera in the Philippines! Not only do we have access to the best beaches in the Philippines, but we also have the best diving spots for all scuba diving and wreck diving enthusiasts out there!
Enjoy all the beach fun and games, the beautiful sunset, the cool sea breeze, the beautiful scenery of nature everywhere you go, the Philippine biodiversity, the immersive Philippine culture, the authentic Philippine food, even the best Mexican restaurant in this tropical country!
