HMAS Brisbane Scuba Dive course
Diving warship wrecks can be one of the most rewarding experience you can treat yourself with!
Maybe it is the unknown what lurks past at the next corner as you move down the corridor.
Whatever it is that divers love, HMAS Brisbane is one of the top 10 dive sites in Australia

Brisbane Back Creek canyoning over scuba diving.
Scuba Shane Diving divers went out and did something different last week. Back creek gorge is an hour drive from the dive store from Brisbane city. The route has three waterfalls to abseil and two that you can jump; the adventure took just over 2 hours.
As you know its manta ray season with the last couple of dives bring a stack of leopard sharks, which has quietly trumped the manta rays this season. I’m excited for the new year diving and I have big plans for some shark diving later in the year.
Anyway, enjoy, and keep on pushing yourself.

Flinders Reef scuba dive of Brisbane
Flinders Reef is 5 km North of Moreton Island and has a vast variety of soft and hard corals, with hundreds of tropical fish. The main attraction for diving Flinders Reef is the turtle cleaning station.
Shark scuba diving in Fiji
My recent dive trip to Fiji Beqa Lagoon Resort was an amazing trip and experience. I had the opportunity to be able to enrol into Erich Ritter Shark School.
The course is over 5 days with double dives every morning with over five different species of sharks at a depth of 24 metres. The knowledge I have come away with has proven that we know very little about these creatures and the media has made us believe the complete opposite of what sharks really are.
The experience was priceless and future drivers will benefit dives with Scuba Shane Diving on shark dives around Brisbane, Queensland, Australia
The footage of this trip was taken on my GoPro with no filters or strobes, however it still shows what you could learn by diving with sharks and it deserved to be edited by a professional.
Chris Hailey did a fantastic job and made a tutorial on video editing on YouTube, check him out for scuba diving and rock climbing clips.
Scuba Diving at Tweed Heads, Open Water Course
Always a good day when you can dive. Brisbane and Tweed Heads have some of the best shore dives going around. The Open Water Diver Course shows divers the art of buoyancy and what lies beneath the surface.

Manta Bommie Scuba Dive
Manta Bommie did it again!
Manta Lodge yet again looked after us with two exceptional dives on Manta Bommie with Shannon, Sarah, Ricardo, Izzy, Sarah and Simon. The winds picked up and the storms were building on the horizon but beneath the surface was a wonder of some of the most spectacular events we have seen.
During the first dive, we had manta rays, with a particular ray gliding over the group with a hover for a photo shot (Could there is a Manta Ray Instagram page were not aware about). Leopard sharks were yet again Mr reliable at the southern end of the Bommie; this could be a good reason why this dive site is so highly rated during the warmer months.
We also had turtles, bamboo sharks, bull rays, octopuses, octopi or octopods you can choose the plural terminology.
Such an awesome dive and I am already pumped for the next dive on the 13 January.

Learn to Dive
Learning to scuba dive could easily be one of the best choices I've made and it could be yours. In three days you could go from the couch to being 18 metres deep on the reef. Imagine diving with a 3 metre manta ray or a humpback whale. Scuba diving brings a certain type of people together in a fun enjoyable activity.

Diving Flinders Reef, Moreton Island - Showreel
Flinders reef is a small reef just north of Moreton Island, I have dived here numerous times, and it never ceases to amaze me. Such variety of life, and 9.9 time out of 10 always clear waters. Great place to dive all year round.
More info can be found on good ol wikipedia
