Bournemouth '18 - Ed's Birthday
This was my first trip to Bournemouth and I fell in love. The beaches are like the ones you get in sunny Spain and we spent sometime lapping up the beauty and relaxing. We ate in some fantastic places including Crab Bournemouth. It isn't easy finding places that cater for Ceoliac's so TripAdvisor was an absolute saviour, as I could search the reviews for Gluten Free. Our trip ended in Dorchester, where we visited Sculpture on the Lakes, a beautiful, tranquil nature park with fantastic sculptures and great scenery. We had the best time. I thoroughly enjoyed editing this video and it took a lot of time and effort. So enjoy!

Another way is to meet representatives of the British artist. Poet and novelist Thomas Hardy. He was born in a rural village near Dorchester in 1840. Report a rural hut signposts Hardy had to walk for a while yet. The birthplace of the thatched roof hut is also the place where the feet of the most touching munhakdo sukyeon. Preserved as described in his novel Under the shade of greenery, a memorial has been published since 1948. Full of literary taste drifting in and out of the house is more attractive than the birthplace of Shakespeare. Hardy's birthplace is one of the smallest among the British cultural assets, but also the most important legacy. His memorial is housed in the yen lifetime keepsake he will thoroughly enjoy sseudeon. He started the literary activity in the thatch of the two bedrooms has cheungen changjaksil and sister. The Korean version is on display at the Museum 'Volver' 'Tess' eye-catching. Wounded due to the absurd conventions and prejudices of his time eventually completely collapsed Obama painted a tragic life test he received criticism from my conservative critics. He hit caught a big impact on English literature. He went ahead of his time, had challenged the system. Jyeotgi famous because he grew up in a humble background wonak. Fortune-telling mole charms Dorset Art Weeks 2014
Two artists, one studio, and lots of extraordinary things appear in this video made for Dorset Art Weeks 2014, on this year from Saturday, May 24 to Sunday, June 8. What sort of things? A fortune-telling mole, a depressed albino mole, a frenetic painting squirrel, a life-sized hero made out of cement... The artists are Katarina Rose and Lisa Lindqvist; the studio is an old blacksmith's forge in the village of Litton Cheney, just off the A35 in West Dorset.
There are just over 1,000 artists taking part in Dorset Art Weeks 2014. It's the UK's greatest free festival of visual art. It gives people chance to go to places they might never normally go: not just physical spaces - huts, homes, studios, galleries, halls, courtyards, gardens, cafes, a castle and a friary and a school - but also into the realms of the imagination. Pick up a brochure, browse the Dorset Art Weeks website ( ) and look out for the famous red and yellow signs that dot roadsides and properties across the county.
Thanks to our main sponsor - Sculpture by the Lakes - and to all our other sponsors: the solicitors and arbitrators Humphries Kirk, the media company Archant, Watershed PR of Bridport (who made this video), Dorchester Nissan (whose Nissan Leaf you can see at the end of this video driving up Abbotsbury Hill), the brewers and pub-owners Hall & Woodhouse, Dorset Magazine, Yalbury Cottage and Arts University Bournemouth.
We look forward to seeing you at lots of Dorset Art Weeks venues and events!

Baillie/Stott Gold - Men's Canoe Double | London 2012 Olympics
Highlights from the Lee Valley Water Centre as Great Britain's Tim Baillie and Etienne Stott win Gold in the Men's Canoe Double during the London 2012 Olympic Games.
In 1924 in Paris, flatwater canoeing featured at the Games as a demonstration sport. Canoe and kayak racing became full medal sports at the 1936 Berlin Games. However events were initially limited to canoe sprint until canoe slalom made its debut at the 1972 Munich Games. Slalom racing was not competed again in the Olympic Games until the 1992 Barcelona Games.

The strange house by Thomas Hardy, recorded at Max Gate
I hear the piano playing--
Just as a ghost might play.
--O, but what are you saying?
There's no piano to-day;
Their old one was sold and broken;
Years past it went amiss.
--I heard it, or shouldn't have spoken:
A strange house, this!
I catch some undertone here,
From some one out of sight.
--Impossible; we are alone here,
And shall be through the night.
--The parlour-door--what stirred it?
--No one: no soul's in range.
--But, anyhow, I heard it,
And it seems strange!
Seek my own room I cannot--
A figure is on the stair!
--What figure? Nay, I scan not
Any one lingering there.
A bough outside is waving,
And that's its shade by the moon.
--Well, all is strange! I am craving
Strength to leave soon.
--Ah, maybe you've some vision
Of showings beyond our sphere;
Some sight, sense, intuition
Of what once happened here?
The house is old; they've hinted
It once held two love-thralls,
And they may have imprinted
Their dreams on its walls?
They were--I think 'twas told me--
Queer in their works and ways;
The teller would often hold me
With weird tales of those days.
Some folk can not abide here,
But we--we do not care
Who loved, laughed, wept, or died here,
Knew joy, or despair.
Sandworld Weymouth - Sci-Fi Theme - 2013
A brief tour of Sandworld in Weymouth during 2013 when its theme was science fiction. Most impressive indeed.
A London Autumn
London in the fall season is spectacular. A stroll through Hyde Park in November can be filled with a fiery display of vibrant colors as leaves change and drop in this urban forest.
At the eastern end of the Serpentine lake is a small waterfall which flows into The Dell. The Serpentine has two restaurants along the lake and dozens of water fowl from ducks and geese to swans - there is even a black swan ready for a selfie.
A walk with one’s dog is a very British way to enjoy the park or a horseback ride from Kensington Gardens. In 2004 English sculptor David Backhouse’s monument, Animals in War, was unveiled. It commemorates the countless animals that served and died under British military command through the ages.
Hidden down a tiny cobblestone road at Wilton Mews is the Grenadier pub, Built in 1843, it is a tribute to the Grenadier Guards. The ceiling is covered in banknotes left by customers.
Well behaved dogs are welcome and one blue eyed beast kept his eyes on my fries, salmon and mushrooms on toast.
London is under construction. Cranes fill the skyline, from new shopping centers in Knightsbridge to the Peninsula London at Grosvenor Place, a 190 room with 28 apartments, a spa, shops, restaurants, bars and a ballroom.
Down the street at Harrods, the halls are decked with Boughs Of Holly and a lot customers that seem jolly. The Christmas rush is already in full swing and the crowds are throbbing.
At the elegantly peaceful Dorchester Hotel on Park Lane, one can escape the hubbub of the city and get sequestered in luxury room with delicious treats like fresh figs and edible gold.
And if you want to take in theater, the Dorchester’s concierge can work miracles like great seats at the sold out School Rock the next day at an affordable price.
And London does rock n roll right.
A tour by taxi or a ride in double-decker bus, exploring an art museum or watching peaceful protesters, dining at Trader Vic's or devouring mushy peas at the Lido - London in autumn has something for every taste.
