Surge Narrows - different angles
A film by Ken Bueckert of three paddlers playing in sea kayaks at Surge Narrows. The wave was not especially high but the tide height allowed for some rarely seen angles of surfing sea kayaks.

CATCH AND RELEASE: Speckled Trout and Snook! | KAYAK FISHING | HOBIE COMPASS
Can you have fun catching and releasing speckled trout and snook from a kayak? Absolutely, even if they are of the guppy variety; where’s your daddy? I had a blast on this quick trip to the marsh. The water clarity was spectacular and it gave me the chance to stand up, stretch my legs, and do some sight fishing. It’s a catch and release frenzy.
Enjoy the action and thanks for watching!

Powerade Commercial - killer whale lands on kayak
A Korean language version of a Powerade commercial, seemingly meant to imply that a Poweraide drinker can withstand an orca falling on top of him, right his kayak and continue on unphased by the experience.
Recently, someone has deleted the ending segment, (which shows the sports drink and lets the viewer know it's a commercial,) and has circulated this altered-version as if it were a factual event. In actuality, the footage seen here is a fabrication, a blending of documentary movie footage of a leaping orca, and kayaks pasted into the shot.
One can easily discern that the footage is fake, when one considers the size of the orca relative to the kayak it lands upon. An orca of that size would be a freak of it's kind.

Sea Lion Montage from Norris Rock BC
A collection of my still photographs and video from Joe Temple from a SCUBA dive at Norris Rock BC. Surface temperatures were a cool 30 degrees F and the water was a warm 42 deg F. Visibility at the site is about 8-10 feet but gets steadily worse as the Sea Lions enter the water. I have dove with Sea Lions for many years but I have never had the interaction found here. These Sea Lions were more like a pack of over zealous house dogs greeting me after a day at work. They are know for there mischievous ways at Norris Rock. It is not uncommon for them to steal your mask from your face, attempt to remove your hood, or even pin divers to the bottom. I did have a unique issue with a young bull who got rather rough with my legs a few times. He never bit me hard enough to break through the dry suit but did manage to leave some bruises on my legs.
