4K シーサイドももち海浜公園 福岡市 Seaside Park Fukuoka JAPAN
Seaside Momochi is Fukuoka's modern waterfront located on reclaimed land along Hakata Bay. The area was originally developed as the site of the 1989 Asia Pacific Expo and was designed with attractive, modern features such as wide, tree lined streets, futuristic buildings and public parks.
The Momochihama seaside area in the Seaside Momochi Beach Park stretches in the north of the Fukuoka Tower, Fukuoka Yafuoku Dome and Hilton Fukuoka Sea Hawk, offering a splendid and quiet environment.
In the central area of this beach, there are a restaurant, a wedding hall, a marine sports shop and other facilities, which provides stylish and urban atmosphere. This place attracts many people who would like to enjoy the beach and ocean in summer. This park is an ideal place to spend a whole day having fun.

Toiyacho and Eating Plants w/ Rina | SUMMER '19 IN JAPAN VLOG | Day 28
On this day, my Japanese friend Rina (who coincidentally lived in Houston for a few years when she was young), takes me to Toiyacho, a strip in Okayama that's developing itself to be the new hangout spot for the young people of Okayama! Unfortunately, it was raining so it's pretty much just hanging out inside and messing around lol

Japan to build cities in the ocean
A metropolitan city can hardly be called a good place to live in. Perhaps, every resident of megacities dreams of living out of town -- somewhere in the midst of green forests, by the seaside or at least by the river. This remains a dream for many. Slowly but surely, it becomes a part of reality for others.
Everyone is aware of the problem of the shortage of land in Japan. It is quite possible that soon the Japanese will have to build new cities on the water surface and even up in the sky. This is how the dream can come true.
Not that long ago, a Japanese company put forward a project of a floating artificial city -- a giant floating island that can become a home for at least 100,000 people. The city of the future will look like a colony of giant water lilies.
There is another project about the construction of new cities in the sky. The designers can already give the dates. The new module-like cities will create a whole neighborhood in the Pacific Ocean by 2025. The residents of the city will mostly live in skyscrapers placed in the center of water lilies. The towers will be surrounded by artificially created fields and forests. Additional residential areas with prestigious mansions will be built on the shores of the artificial islands. The climate on the floating islands is promised to be good and pleasant. The modules will be drifting in the Pacific Ocean along the equator, so the average temperatures will make up 26-28 degrees above zero. Agriculture will be developing and prospering, the costs on electricity will not be that large.
This seems to be like science fiction, but the fiction may soon come true. Would you agree to live in a floating city like that?

Experience the history and future of the sea, ships, and ports.
With its characteristic white space frame roof giving the impression of sailboat racing across the vast ocean, the Kobe Maritime Museum offers a look at the international port city of Kobe. Under the concept of, “Born from the sea and port, sailing into the future with Kobe,” the Maritime Museum opened in 1987 to celebrate the Port of Kobe’s 120th anniversary, marking 120 years since the modern Port of Kobe was opened in 1868. Offering a glimpse at ship construction and a look at port facilities and the appeal of cruise ships, the museum is a place where visitors can experience the history and future of the seas, ships, and ports. Through resources including actual navigation instruments, riggings, and ship records, diorama models, videos, and graphics, visitors are introduced to the past, present, and future of the seas, ships, and ports around Kobe in an easy-to-understand way. Also, a part of the Meriken wharf, damaged in the Great Hanshin earthquake, is preserved as the Port of Kobe Earthquake Memorial Park. This memorial park acts to convey the messages learned from the earthquake to future generations. Opened in 2006, Kawasaki Good Times World can also be found right nearby. This corporate museum is operated by Kawasaki Heavy Industries, which has helped the city advance since the Port of Kobe first opened.

Are Japanese Homes Really Worthless After 30 Years?
Have you ever heard that Japan's houses only last 30 years? Is it because of earthquakes, Japan's love of new, clean things, termites, humidity, population decline, or bad construction materials?

Positive Japan
Sharing the great everyday experiences in Japan
For some people it can be hard to grow accustomed to Japan: the culture is very different, the language is of course as well.
Finding connections and leading a life that's satisfying can be difficult at times.
Many people coming here have never lived, in Japan, obviously, and some haven't even visited the country before. Yet they have a certain idea of the country which makes them want to come here.
Then, when they arrive, and that's true especially for the first year or so, they get overwhelmed by all the differences and they start to draft a negative image of Japan in their heads.
They start handling things by being sarcastic and develop a negative attitude towards living in Japan.

Kobe 'Happy Active Town'
Today, I visited the Kobe City area of 'Happy Active Town' (HAT) which is located to the East of the city center, along the waterfront. The area was developed following the massive destruction by an earthquake in 1995. I expect prior to the development the area was used for cargo warehouses and shipping.
It has good local government and private accommodations located along the waterfront. It also locates the Hyogo Prefecture Art Museum, The International Plaza, Earthquake museum and Emergency Medical Center and a building for the WHO.
The area is very pleasant for living and visiting with many wide open spaces, and play areas for children.
There's also a Red Cross Hospital and an Onsen with outdoor pools.
A place were the sky, sea and land kiss each other.
This video is taken from the Seaside Deck of the Hyogo Prefecture Art Museum and also were I had my packed lunch!
