We bought cheap fresh seafoods from ABC Ilongcana. We've got lobsters, giant prawns, scallops and oysters with the total of 2250 Pesos.

After that, we brought the fresh seafoods to Aling Tonya's Paluto to cook them the way we want it. Price range of paluto 200 Pesos - 300 Pesos depends on the kilo and type of dish.

Seaside Dampa Macapagal situated by Manila Bay is one of the best known dampas in Manila. The word dampa means hut or nipa hut. In Manila it is where you can buy various fishes and crustaceans freshly caught then cooked however you want on the premises.

Dampa Seaside Macapagal | Experience & Review

Seaside Dampa Macapagal is probably the largest seafood place in Manila. It is perfectly situated as it is near to various hotels, shopping malls and casinos.

Interestingly enough, dining in Seaside Dampa Macapagal is more exciting as you get to shop and choose among the fresh seafood in the palengke or wet market. There is a number of stalls in the market selling fresh sea foods from small shells, shrimps, crabs, lobsters and many more. Just make sure to use your haggling skills as prices may be quite expensive compared to a typical wet market in the country. Nonetheless, you can get discounts from the sellers if you practice your haggling skills.

The options are, of course, many: you have your usual fresh fish options, as well as a wide range of crustaceans such as crabs, clams, shrimps, scallops, oysters, mussels, and lobsters. For the adventurous, some stalls have tanks with live rock crabs, baby sharks, and abalone, among many others.

There are many restaurants along the strip where you can have your seafood cooked. It all really depends upon how much you’re willing to spend and the kind of ambiance you prefer.

FRESHEST SEAFOOD FEAST! INSANE Seafood Meal at Dampa Market Manila Philippines

When I was in Manila Philippines I was told that I HAD to get some FRESH seafood at a local seafood market called Dampa. At this market, you shop for seafood items like fresh fish, crabs, clams, mussels, lobsters and then take the seafood to a number of local restaurants located nearby so they can prepare it for you in a variety of ways.

We also happened to run into a few very friendly friends from Saudia Arabia and went with them to their hotel for a Salmon and Rice feast. After which we returned to the seafood market, selected some fish, crab, clams, and prawns. We then headed for a restaurant called Hong Kong Master Cook and begin one of the most delicious seafood feasts I've ever had!

The seafood was prepared in many different ways and my favorite was the fish cooked in spicy chili broth. Also, the crab was some of the most tender onesI've ever had. I would highly recommend this seafood market if ever in Manila Philipines.
